Well, I tried to play the game and make a Reel to show one wonderful day in . And it bombed. So I’m learning the lesson that when you said you weren’t interested in Reels, you really did mean it — no matter what all the social media experts say I should be doing… and I’m pivoting to spend more time creating stories on my own, owned-channels instead of relying on an algorithm that only serves to make this formerly-suicidal creator feel suicidal all over again. My heart is heavy at the news it’s once again not safe to travel to one of my favorite places on the planet: the country of Austria. As they go into lockdown and we approach a winter where they may not be the only ones experiencing this level of restriction, I’m flashing back to my late summer / early autumn trip to and sharing 17 ways you can enjoy this super special Austrian region because I care and want to support them.
