Well, straight out of the bocks in the early new year, we have already got a huge new tune on our hands. It comes from the acclaimed Ras Tweed in cahoots with Spanish producer Roberto Sanchez who together roll deep on 'Liard N Theef' with its big horns and rubbery low ends. It's a fusion of Afrobeat, soul and funk on a reggae rhythm that has conscious vocals about reconnecting with the earth. Flip it over and you will get a superb trombone-led version for sunnier days.

The second serie of polyvinyl on Samuel Records.
There will be only 50 copies of those alternate mixes from Roberto Sanchez.
The vinyl release will come before the end of this year I hope (but you know how complicated it is today) with another mix.
9min13 of mixed reggae, afrobeat, soul and jazz.
One side vocal and one side dub.
This one was mastered by Sawah here in Montpellier, cutted by Khlem here too.

It will have taken almost two years to arrive at this crucial stage which is the mixing of this track.
Roberto's mixes are tuff as usual, and now it's time to send to mastering.
I hope to see the record released before the end of the year, and in the meantime, I will probably release a polyvinyl with different mixes.

Il y a deux ans, Samuel Records voyait le jour avec la sortie de ce maxi.
Les choses n'ont pas été simples depuis, mais j'espère que pour 2022 nous verrons le deuxième maxi voir le jour.
En attendant, remettons celui-ci au début !

Soon come a polyvinyl with a vocal and a dub of the next release of Samuel Records (20 euros per copy, limited to 60).
This Sandeeno's recording was made, as a dubplate, in 2008 when he played in Montpellier with Boris Reality.
3 years later we found an arrangement to release the track, but the circumstances didn't let us finish the job.
After many years waiting to find the good moment, I finally asked to Roberto Sanchez and he has built a new riddim and mixed it, in a digi-roots style, perfect for this strong vocal of Sandeeno.
We will give it a proper release before the summer.
Enjoy this dubplate sample, that won't be available on digital, strictly on the polyvinyl made by Khlem BadLeaf.
