These handcrafted pawprint pebbles are made with real copper fused between two pieces of art glass. They are wonderfully tactile, feeling soft and smooth to the touch.
Each is unique - no two will ever be the same - and they measure approximately 3cm x 3cm.
They are mounted on card and the text can be any you choose, including personalisation.
If your beloved pet is no longer with us, and you have ashes, I can incorporate a small amount into the glass so that they are with you wherever you go, forever.
10€ each, including P&P in France.

LANTERN WORKSHOP - strictly limited to three attendees.
Design, cut and decorate four fusible glass panels with an array of fusible glass products (powders, frit, stringers, and glass pieces, all in a rainbow of colours. These will then be fired in my kiln over the following few days, ready to be put in your own metal lantern. Your lantern can later be illuminated using wax candles, LED 'candles, or a string of fairy lights, whatever you choose!
This workshop is suitable for beginners or improvers.
3 hours including a refreshment break (light refreshments provided).
100€ per person, includes all materials, kiln time but excluding postage of your finished panels. You will take home your lantern skeleton ready to insert your completed panels.
Payment required upon booking.

These are my fused glass pocket hugs, great for showing loved ones you care, even when you can't be with them.
The reddish hearts are made with handcut copper, and the blue heart is formed with bubbles.
Wonderfully tactile and a thoughtful gift.
Available in English and French. The mounting card can be personalised with a name, or your own words, if you wish.

These coasters are made by sandwiching a handcut copper heart between two pieces of clear glass.
They have non-slip rubber feet which will also protect your table.
They measure 9cm x 9cm and are 8€ each, 30€ for 4, plus P&P.

I am delighted to confirm that Verre de Vendée will be attending this market in the beautiful town of Nesmy, at the world famous pottery.

I love how this stripy plate has turned out.
Lots of precision cutting but I think the end result is worth it.
I had something totally different in mind for this design, but in the end, the perfect result was achieved just by another visit to the kiln - this time in a mould .
The colours shining through onto the white table give another beautiful dimension to this piece.

Tealight/bonbon dishes fresh out of the kiln

A heart isn't just for Valentines!
These pretty hearts are all handcrafted by me at Verre de Vendée.
Firstly the sheet glass is cut into the heart shape. As I do it by eye, every heart is shaped slightly differently. Then I drill a hole in each, ready for the hanging ribbon at the very end of the process. I insert a wad of special paper into the hole so it doesn't close up during firing.
Then the hearts are embellished using fusible glass pieces, before visiting the kiln in my studio to melt and fuse the glasses into each other, and also to round the edges and the drilled holes in the hearts.
Some coldwork may be required to finish each heart, before finally I insert a coordinating ribbon.
I can make any heart to suit your own colour scheme, and also vary the size as required .
The hearts measure approximately 5.5cm x 5.5cm not including the ribbon (although the ribbon is included!)

Fresh out of the kiln this morning, my take on the work of Dutch artist Piet Mondriaan.
I love precision cutting and these needed just that!
