My tribute to the Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris: I woke up this morning still in disbelief and with a broken heart. What a beautiful piece of our history/story in Paris. I’ve passed it countless times, stopped to admire its, had picnics while taking an occasional gaze, etc. Regardless of your religion, it’s a structure, a church that is admired by all. It has an 850 year old history. It has a special place in my heart, as my husband and I woke to it’s ringing bells for almost 2 years. Whether on a walk to Ligne 1 or the RER B to/from our apartment, it’s always been comforting to know that I was lucky to have The Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris in my backyard. I have so many fond memories...taking pictures in front it with my mom and with friends...picnicking on the Quay with friends, going for long walks along the Quay with my husband, finding Christina’s little Atelier and then realizing that my beautiful wedding dress would be made by a wonderful designer just next to the Notre Dame. Moving to Paris more than 2 years ago and realizing that our first apartment would be 1 block away from it...the countless nights that I would stop, admire and take a picture of the Notre Dame, because, honestly, the beauty was breathtaking.

I know France will rebuild. I know the world will come to aid in the rebuilding. And that it will be stronger and just as beautiful. 🇫🇷❣️
