Layers of the Earth is a Carré production and is made possible by the Carré Fund.

Immersive audiovisual live performance that explores the different layers of the Earth. The performance is divided into four distinct sections, each exploring one of the four major components: the crust, the mantle, the outer core, and the inner core. Through a combination of real-time visuals, live music performance and cutting-edge technology the audience will be transported on a journey through the different layers of our planet, experiencing the sights and sounds of each layer. A large circular projection on Carré’s arena floor will offer a unique sensory experience that combines the visual and the auditory, creating a multi-dimensional environment that challenges the viewer’s perception of space and reality.

“BEYOND ECHOES” is a new audiovisual performance in collaboration with Nik Colk Void & .
Premiered last Friday at Culturgest - Fundação CGD in Lisbon.
Beyond Echoes explores the journey through time and the idea of infinity, embracing the unknown while finding beauty in the interplay between order and chaos. This project brings together the sounds of a Euro-rack and a live cello, utilizing minimalistic set design and generative visuals to showcase the profound effects of sound within a space.

Em semana marcada pelo ciclo Aqui, no Universo, fazemos uma infinita viagem estelar. Nesta estreia mundial, viajamos através da eletrónica de Nik Colk Void e das imagens de maotik, com Ute Kanngiesser no violoncelo. Orbitamos em Beyond Echoes, que segue depois para Ponta Delgada (Tremor), Braga (gnration) e Madeira (MADEIRADIG).

Nik Colk Void é uma artista e produtora de música eletrónica com percurso fundamental a solo, colaborativo ou como membro dos Factory Floor ou Carter Tutti Void.

maotik é o projeto de Mathieu Le Sourd, um dos mais prolíferos artistas visuais da atualidade, com trabalhos apresentados em locais e festivais em todo o mundo, criando momentos em que a realidade e o espaço são alterados e manipulados com resultados impactantes.

Simone Weil, the French philosopher (1909 - 1943) stated that ‘every separation is a link’.
This statement highlights the interconnectedness
and communication within the natural world.
It encourages us to consider the complex relationships that exist, even between seemingly unrelated elements.

This installation is inspired by the influence of the changing positions of the moon on the natural environment and the human state of mind. The idea is to translates successively the impact of the moon on the ocean, earth, plants, and human emotions. Life is enhanced through the use of advanced technologies such as light, generative visuals, fabrics, sound, and video projection.

Bloom is an interactive installation that reacts to the audience's movements and gestures. Using multitouch interactivity, the audience generates digital flowers that create a sound composition that changes according to the user's action.

Audiences communicate directly with the digital world, using the movement of their hands to create abstract lights and images. As well as a generative musical composition, which reacts to events rather than a notion of time.
