The state of Texas will kill her on April 27 for the death of her toddler while police officers used coercive tactics during her 7 hour interrogation. At the time of her conviction, she did not receive a fair trial while evidence today indicate the death of her toddler was an accident
No one should be executed especially without enough evidence to support her conviction.

It takes me almost all my life to understand this. We stay silent to keep the peace but this is bc we stay silent, the abuse can continue.

If we don’t let our emotions some space to have a voice, they will find another way to come out, usually through sickness, or any kind of inconfort. It’s our body that tries to communicate with us through a different channel since we did not listen to the first one. Let’s learn to create some space to have a conversation with our inner self.

Hello! I’m Carine, your mental health coach. My mission is to help women and men remove the obstacles preventing seal-healing, and self-growth so they finally can flourish and reach their full potential.
I was once a victim of narcissistic abuse. At the age of 16, I met the man who became my husband for 22 years. He had grown up in a religious cult in Europe where women’s roles were to solely bear children and serve their husbands. Years went by and we moved to the USA. I was isolated abroad with our five children, far from my friends and family and without work or an education. Living under the influence of this man who was violent and unpredictable. I felt lonely, helpless, weak, but despite all the harm he did to me, I loved him and thought that my unconditional love could change him. I certainly had the “nurse syndrome” as I thought it was my duty to help him, and be there for him. Sadly, it was just an illusion.
After earning my GED, I went to college at age 38, and I joined programs to develop my self-esteem, my own potential, and to change my limited thoughts and beliefs. I learned to conquer my fears which were preventing me from taking the reins of my life and leave.
