Made some shooting sticks for a grand total of £8!
4 garden stakes purchased then used 4 m6 bolts, 8 m6 washers & 4 nylon nuts I had spare from previous projects
Very simple to make and super impressed!
Definitely worth a go if you don't have £300 for the fancy ones 🤣

At the gun range I usually shoot 22lr (on the right).... Compared to the 30-06 on the left
Had the amazing opportunity last week to try a few different calibers!

Early start this morning but super chuffed to have been on my first deer stalk!
Two muntjacs and a lot learned on my part!
Can't wait to get out there again & looking forward to getting behind the gun when the time comes also 🙏
My mentor kindly let me keep some of the meat also - What an amazing day!

Poorly calf that needed to be dispatched before her condition worsened and caused pain
Mr Farmer didn't want to waste the meat (& rightly so!)
Everyday is a school day and now I know how to skin and gralloch a cow!

Main inconvenience with borrowing the club rifle is having to install and zero my little 3-9 scope each time....
Although it is a great feeling seeing the group sizes close up and get on point 🤩
