Hosted by 'Circle of Friends' and joined by Ivan & Ken who represented Ashby De La Zouch, Museum.

Many thanks to everyone who kindly brought their books, photographs, interesting informative facts, family history, shared stories, memorabilia and artifacts about Blackfordby this afternoon. It was all so valuable and appreciated by us all.

Life is already difficult and people need to take the time to stop and consider what they could do to make life a little better for someone who is down and out. Sometimes even a kind smile, and gentle word can make all of the difference to someone who could really use a lift or whose life may be turned upside down right now.
