Adrian from Bigfoot Arts Education gave an outstanding workshop to Years 4 and 5 yesterday. Mashing up rap and two of Shakespeare's most famous scenes, one from Romeo and Juliette and the other Macbeth, opened minds to the power and rhythm of 17th century spoken English. Add 'play' acting, movement and engaging discussion about protagonists and antagonists brought Shakespeare's texts alive and made for a memorable experience.
