This one is for my youngest now they each own their own blanket!!

A whole year of my creations!! The longest crochet stretch EVER!! Over a year 😊

Crochet is like one of those friends that you don’t need to see everyday, you just pick up where you left off!!
So if I have a spell of not picking up the hook I’ll know she’ll be waiting for me!!

2nd to last blanket of 2023 I lost count of how many I have made this year!!

Cannot wait for the cal’s of 2024 and whatever happens in the new year, I know crochet is always going to be there like a faithful friend, it’s my focus, peace and joy and I cannot wait to see what I create with my hook and yarn to hand!!

I’ve been a busy bee I’ve made a few things between these but they are a surprise for my bestie who’s expecting her first baby in the new year 🤗 EXCITED!!

Sonia’s Holiday by Rosina Plane is almost complete…… I’m so near yet so far with the back envelope boarder 😫🤣

And some Christmas coasters for my daughters primary teachers ☺️

I have lots to keep me going over Christmas too, nothing makes me more happy to watch the kids open their presents, Christmas dinner cooking and crochet hook in hand ☺️

I’ve been crocheting for the last 10-12 years and it’s always been blankets or toys but seen has my Bestie is expecting her first child in January 2024 it was time to tackle my first baby cardigan, now it’s not perfect there’s probably mistakes in there but that’s ok 👍 but I am pretty chuffed at myself ☺️ onto the sleeves next 😁

Another blanket bites the dust gotta be at least 7-8th one of this year!!

I do love to make blankets though and this one has been claimed by my goth teenage daughter!!

At slimming world this week we were given little mojo’s I couldn’t stay this week so I missed out on getting one but I made myself one!!

Not feeling well yesterday and today horrible weather constantly giving me a pressure migraine but it eased off this evening enough to do some crochet!!

Been a while 🐊 but opening day for Wimbledon and perfect opportunity to finish this blanket!!

My back is doing much better so I can now sit and crochet 🧶 but I’ve also been rebooting my weight loss journey and some needed self love ❤️

Official weigh in this evening but it could be a potential half a stone off in 3 weeks ☺️

I have a couple of projects to crack on with but I really need to get these Christmas blankets finished first!!

This may be my last blanket I think until Autumn it’s getting a bit too warm to crochet blankets!!

Can’t wait for the next crochet along though which I think is the halloween 🎃 one!! I do love these cal’s with such a clever lady!!

Not well know about me but I’m such a history buff even more then a royalist and I swear I was born in the wrong era!!

My era should of been either the Tudor times or the Elizabethan times!! I love it!!!

Just has the BBC Coronation Coverage Opened their credits the last few stitches on the orb was made!!

I could of completed this quicker today but I got caught up mesmerised with the pomp and pageantry of the day!! What a day!!

God save the king 👑 and thank god this blanket has finally been completed!! Definitely a labour of love ❤️ in those stitches!!
