⭐️TRAVELLING GROOM POSITION ⭐️

An exciting opportunity for someone looking for a travelling grooms position, to work alongside our existing team and travel with our head travelling groom.

We are looking for a reliable, fun, ambitious and hard working individual to become an instrumental part of a team. We are very lucky to have an exciting string of horses and we are looking for someone who enjoys giving them the best care and wants to be apart of their journey.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to groom all over the country and in Europe at some of the biggest events in world! The role involves all aspects of the day to day care of competition horses including all general yard duties, preparing horses for competition and travelling to and grooming at training days and events. Clipping, Trimming Plaiting experience is ideal and we would be happy to help further your skills with any aspects if needed/required. Hacking/fast work will also be available for the right applicant but not essential for the role.

Previous experience is required and a HGV licence.

On site accommodation is available, we are located in Nr Godalming, Surrey

🥇Brookfield William (📸) took the win in his Intermediate section, really enjoying getting to know him!

🥈Cooley Cornasus and🏅4th My Star Turn in the 7yr old class 🎉

United 36 had a steady run XC and HH Moonwalk enjoyed the first 2 phases before withdrawing XC much to his disappointment. Really enjoying having him back out!

Final day at Hartpury yesterday with Cooley DNA jumping a super clear showjumping round to finish 5th in the 2*L 🙌, unfortunately Leamore After Hours had an unfortunate pole knocking him just outside the Top 10 to finish 14th!

All in all a fantastic week and super delighted with all 5 horse’s performances 🎉🎉

A massive thank you to Chloe Whitelam & Kristine Øvland all the horses have been given the upmost care, turned out beautifully and kept everything running smoothly with so much going on!! 🙏🙏

A great day for the team! 🤩🤩

The day started with Leamore After Hours and Cooley DNA having super spins XC around the 2*L both inside the time. They currently sit in 3rd and 7th respectively. 🤞 for tomorrow’s jumping!!

Next up were the big boys… all 3 jumping fantastic D/C’s in the 4*S 🙌

Ask for Manchier secured 🥉 after a speedy run inside the time, Capels Hollow Drift was 6th after some planned time penalties as his last prep run ahead of Defender Burghley Horse Trials. Plot Twist B just having a slower run after a busy few weeks.

Capels Hollow Drift did another lovely test to score a 28.1 to sit in 🥈 ahead of tomorrows jumping phases!

Ask for Manchier also putting his best foot forward to score a 31.5 to sit just outside the top 10.

Looking for 5 stables on sat 17th either just off the A1 or M1 up to 45mins south of Frickley park

Some super work from Plot Twist B in the CCI-S4* but unfortunately a couple of annoying mistakes, he sits in the top 20 on a 35.2!

Cooley DNA did a lovely test with lots more to come to score a 30.7 and lies in 12th ahead of the XC on Saturday with Leamore After Hours in 6th!

Tomorrow it’s Capels Hollow Drift and Ask for Manchiers turn to 🕺🕺

Leamore After Hours then went on to complete his test this afternoon scoring a very respectable 29.7 to sit in 🥉 overnight!

A very busy weekend at Aston le Walls Equestrian Centre with 10 horses competing across the 2 days! Very good performances from all of them with a few top 10 placings and some planned steady runs xc!

Great day at Upton House Horse Trials yesterday in the 7yr old and OI sections!

My Start Turn (📸1) stole the show placing 🥉 in the 7yr old class with a 29.8 D/C just adding a few time XC 🤩

It was great to have Capels Hollow Drift (📸2&3) back out having his first run since Badminton. 29.3 and a steady D/C, road to Defender Burghley Horse Trials is on!! 😃

Midnight Endeavour (📸4) also having her first run back since Bicton as usual ‘little miss perfect’ posting a 28.9 in the dressage and another steady D/C 🤩

United 36 (📸5) a new member of the team only having had him for a few weeks. Had a steady spin XC just whilst getting to know this lovely horse!

Coming into Bramham both horses didn’t quite have the preparation I would normally like but showed their true class throughout one of the toughest 4*L competitions in the world. So exciting for the future 🤩

Although the win wasn’t meant to be with Ask For Manchier having a pole on the last day, he still jumped a super round. Plot Twist B jumped mega to finish on a clear!

First trot complete for Ask For Manchier and Plot Twist B who are both contesting thier first 4*L this week

It’s been a really difficult week after Georgie’s tragic accident. No words are enough, our thoughts and prayers remain with Jesse and the rest of Georgie’s family. Georgie truly was one in a million. It is a stark reminder of how cruel the sport we all love can be. As hard as it is we have tried to laugh a little louder, cry a bit harder and hug our loved ones a little tighter! We will never forget you Georgie 💜🤍🕊️

What a superstar Capels Hollow Drift is. Mr consistent, another 5* and another top 5 placing. Words cannot describe how special this horse is to all of us at TJE and his owners he has given us so much and hopefully there is still more to come 🤩

Being completely honest it wasn’t our best performance but it says something about the quality of Capels Hollow Drift when he can still manage a top result!

Unfortunately Farndon didn’t get to finish off the week but he did show everyone what we have known for a little while. He was a machine on the XC putting in a faultless round. His day will come!
