If you’ve previously hurt your back by moving in a certain way, it is understandable that you would want to avoid that movement in future. 🫣However, the spine was built to bend and twist and move to be fully functional. 🤸🏼‍♀️
Avoiding movements will make them harder to do, and more likely to cause the pain and problem you’re trying to avoid. 🥴
You need to retrain your back to be able to perform the movement confidently again. 🏋️‍♀️😄
Your physio can help show you ways to start exposing your body to those ‘scary’ movements again and show it who’s boss! 💪🏼
