As we prepare to move back to physical classes after the Easter break we have some stats to show all the hard work our members have achieved over the last 3 months. Some Crazy ZKS Stats! Little Dragons, we offered 46 classes from 4th January to 27th March and 25 participants registered over 187 times between them. Mini Ninjas, we offered 66 classes from 4th January to 27th March and 124 participants registered over 1623 times between them. Junior MA, we offered 70 classes from 4th January to 30th March and 189 participants registered over 2883 times between them. Teen MA, we offered 47 classes from 4th January to 30th March and 79 participants registered over 1028 times between them. Mini Assessments 223 members took the live mini-assessment and 45 members are currently working through our new online platform. Results for the mini-assessment so far, 139 passed, 65 Merit and 19 Distinctions and NO Fails. We want to thank all our amazing members and parents for supporting us over the last year, we could not have done all that we have without you! #proud #teamwork #ZKSMA

We have been working hard during lockdown so that our members can still continue their martial arts. We can now offer short courses that they can attend online to improve various aspects and values in martial arts. Charlie has completed his first value badge online and he had learned about our uniform and how to tie up his own belt. Here is what he said about the course, "It was really fun and it was a good challenge. I learnt to tie my belt properly on my own :)." It was also good to hear what his parents thought. "We found this really easy to access on the website and enjoyed reading and learning about some of the histories of martial arts which we wouldn't have known otherwise. The video lessons were easy to follow and understand. It was really encouraging to give see Charlie complete the value and be able to progress even in a lockdown. Thank you :)".

One of our young members, Isaac is raising money for the NHS. So far he has risen over £1500! We want to help him raise more so we are asking all our members and their families to help him raise more. We are so pleased that one of our members is getting their chance to do their mini-assessment from December and rocking it!. George is a machine with the warm-up element and did a non-stop 6 minutes warm-up. Then moved straight on to do 20 press-ups, 20 sit-ups, 20 Squats and 20 burpees. George is lucky enough to be the very first person to try the all-new platform, "ZKS Online" that we will launch in March 2021. A big thanks to him and his cameraman(dad) for being willing guinea pigs and look forward to seeing him complete the assessment.

Our members have been working hard with our online classes. Our members can attend up to 6 times a week online! Every online class has two instructors to guide and motivate our members. We know that young people are not able to do normal exercise in lockdown and we have been a vital outlet for our members to stay fit and healthy and continue their learning in martial arts. New members are welcome to join us so why not message us if you are interested.

We have spent the last two or so months preparing our members for the mini assessment that we are holding on 13th December 2020. We have devised these flow drills to be used both in sparring and self defence. Why not join Sensei Ben and Louise on our most recent lesson with the help of Sensei Sean.
