After last Saturday’s game and being present at games where some players have had pretty serious injuries. I decided to update previous first aid and also broaden my knowledge of Sports related first aid.

This in no way makes me a professional but a simple helping hand if I am ever to be needed. And gives me a little peace of mind too.

I also carry a basic first aid kit in my car alongside any other essentials that may be needed - blankets, extra clothing, socks, hand warmers etc

Unfortunately the match was abandoned after just 7 minutes of play due to a serious leg break on Southside player Alan Jones.

Wishing Alan a very quick and speedy recovery 🙏🏼

Air Ambulance Northern Ireland brilliant response 👏🏼 landing on the pitches close by to offer Alan the treatment and care he needed before ambulance arrived.

I know there will be people comparing my work to others, trust me I’ve done it many times, (especially when it comes to the lens I have on my camera - you work with what you can afford in this day and age) but if I’m happy with my outcomes now compared to when I first lifted that camera then I should just be proud of me 🙂

I love what I do, with the equipment I have and all the self teaching I do everytime I lift that camera.
