Happy new year to everyone 🙌 Now that the stress of Christmas is out of the way I feel now is the right time to announce that I have handed my notice in as landlord of the pub, The last year has been the best year for the pub but also the hardest for me personally with staff changes and many other things to contend with, this decision hasn’t been taken lightly but I feel whoever takes over will be taking over the pub in the best place it’s been at for years. I will still put in 100% effort over the coming months as is my nature and keep an eye on the page for a leaving party 🍺 Enjoy a video from the best New Year’s Eve party the pub has ever had 🥳

So the rain is here and the river is looking menacing 🙈 but the rain is forecast to stop overnight and hopefully the river will have time to get back to normal levels 🙌 we are of course open as usual and The Millers is always the place to be on a Friday. Nothing makes me happier than when the pub is full, people are enjoying themselves and there’s great entertainment on which is definitely what last night was 🥳 Neil absolutely smashed it 🙌 Today we have food being served with our Sunday lunch offering of beef or pork alongside the regular menu, served today 12-5pm ❤️
