HEY, HEY, HEY - you beautiful people! Let’s dispel some pre-conceived ideas about our classes and answer some of the questions we've received. We have plenty of interest in our classes, but sometimes ladies hold back because they’re not quite sure about what’s involved, and they think they can't do it - or it's not for them. So here are your questions - answered! • Do I have to be a dancer, or experienced to be able to join in the classes? NO! From beginners to the more experienced, there is something - for everyone. Infact, beginners are positively encouraged. All routines can be adapted to suit individual needs. Burlesque is for everybody – and EVERY body!! • I’m too ‘big’ - I don’t think I’ll be able to do this! YES, you will, and what’s more - I will show you that you CAN! Our dancers' range from a size 6 - 20+. No-one will bat an eyelid (or care) about what you look like!! This group will only embrace you. The classes will raise your confidence levels - and you’ll learn to love all your imperfections. I’ve been teaching burlesque fitness for 6 years now, and this I what I LOVE the most - seeing my ladies’ confidence soar and seeing them develop and learn to love the skin they’re in! It’s fabulous - and the best part of my job. It’s a job I feel privileged to do! • I’m too ‘unfit’ - I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up! Fitness levels - again the classes are paced so that everyone can be included! But to be honest, you’ll be having too much of a laugh to notice - or care! Just swing yourself along and join us. The hour absolutely flies by!! It almost feels like you’re not exercising, because you’ll be too busy enjoying yourself - and having a giggle. We don’t take ourselves seriously - at all, and the bonus is you’ll burn anywhere from 300 - 500 calories a session, depending on the routine. • I have an injury - will this prevent me from attending?
