We had an amazing morning with a class of year 6s bringing the blitz and evacuation to life today. They were sensitive and smart and showed empathy and creativity speaking with such articulation about the images and videos that they had woken up to of children just like them holding poppets and fidgets and ipads but running from their homes to find safety. It’s days like today that we go home feeling grateful and proud and so appreciative of being able to snuggle up with our children under a safe warm blanket ths evening. 🙌🏻😞
