Many thanks to Sam & Mike Hocking for all their efforts last night hosting our monthly Open Mic Night.
Unfortunately,not ONE other act turned up to play (& only seven customers ALL night).
If local musicians/live music lovers wish for our Open Mics to continue,they're gonna have to start to support these events ?
We've provided over the years a brilliant platform for young & new musicians to get out there & play? Somewhere where established musicians can play new material ?
We're not the only venue (apparently) that aren't getting anywhere near the numbers their efforts deserve either.
Let's all support each other & KEEP MUSIC LIVE !!!
