The Pink Place is a small, local charity based in Basingstoke helping hundreds of ladies and gents going through a tough time with Cancer. As the demand for our services grows, we continually need to raise more money just to stand still, with fewer grants available to help lighten the load. We know we're not alone, but if you, your company or an organisation you are involved with are considering a local charity to support, now or in the future - one that helps local people that could be your family, friends, or colleagues - please consider us as your charity partner. #LocalCharity #Basingstoke #Alton #CancerSupport https://thepinkplace.org.uk/fundraising/

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now! Here's the lovely Jan, who explains how she uses The Pink Place, and how it inspired her to volunteer. The beauty of the way we work is that there are various options on offer, with wellbeing support that suits you, which Jan explains. #thepinkplace #CancerSupport #Basingstoke #alton

It's National Volunteers Week and the 40th Anniversary of @volunteersweek. Like most organisations we're very aware how we'd be unable to deliver what we do without the wonderful people who give up their time to support our services. So here's a little look back at our Volunteers Thank You event from last summer, with a big thank you our volunteers and to all volunteers everywhere! #volunteersweek

Following our successful Charity Fashion Show, partnered with Solo Mia, and as promised here are the photos from the evening. They really capture the whole essence of our fundraising event, thanks to our photographer Hannah Giffen. As mentioned previously, we are truly grateful to all our Pink Place ladies who braved the cat-walk & all our volunteers who ensured the event was very special plus the members of the public who supported our event, which raised £4,245 !

A big thanks to Tracey for her story.

For the past 14 years, we've been here to help women and men in North Hampshire affected by cancer, with a growing number of well-being and support services. But, as we have grown, unfortunately, so has the demand, and we rely on your kind support and donations. So, we'd like to thank you and ask that you continue to support us to help local people with support when they need it most. Find out more on the website: https://thepinkplace.org.uk/fundraising/
