This mornings job, we cut 2-4 years growth of this beech hege and took the waste away.
Slow progress due to the phone wire cutting through the hedge but we still got it done and loaded up in around 4 hours

Some hedgecutting on the estate today

A little hegecutting/clearance job for a lovely new client in bramley the other day.

Another fence we put up on Tuesday.
5ft6 panels supported by 8ft concrete posts and 6 inch concrete gravel boards.

A bit of closeboard fencing to get the week started.
Very tough digging on this one, came across lots of old concrete blocks and bricks buried a foot down so progress was quite slow.
Just waiting for the capping rails to turn up so I can finish off.

Roughly 250m of 6ft round stakes put in on the farm to divide the field into a summer and winter field for the horses.

Block paving driveway laid this week in collaboration with one of my colleagues.

A nice little job we started on Tuesday.
Sawn edge dove limestone with charcoal block edging.
5ft6 feather edge panels supported by 8ft slotted concrete posts and 6inch gravel boards.

6ft gate installed today including a 5ft6 feather edge panel 6 inch gravel board supported by an 8ft concrete post firmly concreted in the ground at a depth of 2 ft with 2 bags of postcrete.

Another little turfing job this week.
Area cleared, rotovated then levelled ready for some new topsoil and turf.
Additionally we cleared the rose bed and w**d proofed the area ready for some woodchip to tidy the border up.
We reinstated the border on the left hand side of and turned it over ready for planting.

First job this week, we replaced the fence with concrete posts and gravel boards.
Existing paving lifted and relaid properly with block edging and a small extension to the patio.
The paving at the front of the house was a quick tidy up job, normally we would take the time to drop the drain covers level with the paving but on this occasion the client was happy to leave them as they were.

A nice bit of turf to tidy up this area beneath some shrubbs that were removed a while ago.
The area was covered in ivy and stumps so we started by grading the area off then using the root rake we separated the green waste from the soil ready for rotovating and levelling.
The turf was laid to a lower standard than we are used to, it is difficult know where to stop when tying into an existing lawn but the clients were thrilled and I'm now exhausted 😆

Mono Pizza We are a family-run, authentic Neapolitan pizza business based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

A nice little start to the week, roughly 9 tons dug out to make way for more driveway/ turning space, a path using the existing block paving and a variegated privet hedge which is yet to be planted in the trench we backfilled with well rotted manure.
All done and and cleaned up in 2 days.

A bit of clearing work today.
All shrubbs removed and dug out.
Laurel Hedge cut back in time with the wall and reduced.
Ivy brought down to a more manageable height and cut back to the wall and away from the windows.
1 long day and an extra large load of waste removed.

Another job completed earlier this week.
We removed some w**d ridden raised beds and cleared the area ready for a new shed/barbecue area.

28 m2 natural riven paving laid last week.
Originally the plan was to lift and relay the blocks upside down, but upon inspection they were in pretty poor condition so we advised to use some budget paving slabs instead.
All done and dusted in 3 days.

Another lovely job finished today.
Difficult area to work with as nothing was straight or square but we do love a challenge

A nice little fencing job finished today in Brighton Hill.
We removed the plum slate to add a new layer of w**d proof membrane and then put it all back.

All done and dusted in 2 days, now we are just waiting for the bespoke gates to arrive to finish up.

Another job finished in bramley.
Limestone paving with sleeper edging and drainage along the house.
Fence replaced to reclaimed some of the driveway as garden, new gates and utility area.
All planted with herbaceous perennials,climbers and lots of bulbs ready for the spring.

Another fencing job for a lovely client.
Not as straight forward as it looks as the bricklayers were quite rough so nothing was level and the spacing between the pillars was very irregular but we got there in the end.

Some of the hedges we have cut recently

32 meters of closeboard fencing with capping rail and gravel board partly sunk to reduce the amount of w**ds creeping under from next door.
All done in 2 days, well done team !

Another patio we finished recently using the existing slabs +some additional reclaimed/recycled slabs.
We lifted the old paving to remove some of the cherry tree roots and put in a proper sub base of compacted type one.
We did our best to match the existing slabs which was difficult due to their age and added a new brick capping and edging to contain the soil in the borders.
We also installed a drainage strip to divert the runoff from the newly paved area and lifted the inspection chamber cover to sit level with the paving.
It's not easy working with old materials but we were happy with the end result.
