We also had a couple of girls reach a really big milestone at just 11 years old in reaching 100 club caps! In truth they probably reached this last season which is just remarkable considering their young age. Well done Lola & George!
A big thank you to absolutely everyone involved with this team, our players, parents & volunteers who aid making this team such a good one to be a part of! 😃🙌
A big thank you to N3 Display Graphics for the back drop and to Larkhall FC for being perfect hosts to us yesterday! Also to Bath Trophy centre for our awards & bespoke medals 🙌
It’s trial season!
We’ve had a number of girls trial or trialling in upcoming weeks for Somerset county school FA set up, Somerset FA’s ETC or Bristol city’s PGA & ETC.
George was lucky enough to be selected for the Somerset county school U14 squad! A big thank you to local company Collstone Project Management who kindly supported and sponsored Georges kit for the season! The kit looks fab 🤩🙌
Good luck to all of our other girls in their trials 🤞
Preparation for 11 a side football is in full swing!
Feels like a bit of a mine field so we’re exposing the girls to experienced and varied coaching over summer! They’ve done brilliantly at training over the past couple of weeks with attendance still very high! 👏🙌
Team achievement? Not quite perhaps!
But a large number of our girls are at the same school and have had an absolutely epic year of football achievements there too! Top 4 in the country in the school FA cup and Somerset schools county cup champions! Impressive! 👏🏆⚽️
Proud that what we’ve achieved with the girls translates into them also doing well when away from our setup! What a group of footballer these girls are! 🤩
These 2! George & Lola!
These guys are the only 2 players left from when the team was very first set up! They’ve been the backbone of our midfield and defence since forever! They’ve come a long way 🖤🤍❤️
Moments like these! 🥰
Looking forward to seeing the girls pick up the Bristol shield

WILTS CUP WINNERS! 🏆
WHICH MEANS THEY COMPLETED THE TREBLE! 🏆🏆🏆
Honestly it would be so hard to put into writing exactly how Sundays cup final went! So many twists & turns! If this game was comparable to anything then it would be a rollercoaster!
It was nothing short of an all out battle for that cup! We beat Abbeymead to the league title and on the day both teams wanted it badly! We really wanted the treble and they didn’t want to lose the cup to us too!
After a close and tense first half which ended 0-0 the goals started rolling in. Abbeymead play high and agressive balls over the top of the defensive line, this stung us twice in between us scoring 3 goals between those 2 from them! Lexi scored on the half volley from what can only be described as the goal of the season! George & Lexi did well to sit and hold in midfield and both our goals were created after being picked off from them winning the ball back! Our 2nd was a persistent and well worked goal between 5 players in which Keira crossed to Evie who made a brilliant run from behind her defence and volleyed it in on the far side of the keeper! 3rd was a rocket of a penalty from George! With 10 mins minutes to go at 3-1 up what could go wrong?? 😅 another long range ball from them and shot conceded and then they were given a free kick, their long range ability and a goal keeping error meant they equalised!
So 3-3 at full time! The Penalty shoot out loomed upon us!
1st penalty -
They scored
We missed
2nd penalty
They scored
We scored (Esme)
3rd penalty
They missed - Tilly saved it! 👏
We scored (Georgie)
4th
They missed - Tilly saved it 👏
We scored (Lexi)
5th penalty
They scored
We scored! (Georgia)
End result 4-3 to us on penalties! Maximum drama! 😅
We’ve put a lot of effort into fully developing our players in all areas with comprehensive training! When it came to the shootout our top goal scorers were not the ones to step out for a penalty. The overall squad quality really shone through when it mattered! Super proud of this group of girls and their abilty to dig deep and hold their nerve! Time and time again when it matters this group find a way to get over the hurdle in front of them. They perform and support each other as an excellent team unit with admirable courage and class!
Lexi was awarded POM! Very much deserved 👏
Take away the fact it was a cup match and everything else that went with it and what was really on display on Sunday was a high standard game between 2 teams that play very different styles of football which really showcased just how far girls football has come on at grassroots level in the past 5 years! It’s impressive and a win itself for everyone involved! ⚽️🙌
Season done and over! Thank goodness! 🤣
Cup finalist spotlight ⭐️
Bath City U12s are headed into the cup final straight off the back of a really successful season.
We’ve a large squad and all players have played a part in securing the league title this season alongside getting the team into the cup final! We’ve a great range of players available in our large squad and every one of them has contributed some fantastic performances over the season! We had 4 of the girls finish in the top 10 goal scorers in the U12 9v9 league this season which we’re really proud of!
The team was established when our longest standing players (George & Lola) were just 5 years old! The team has grown in numbers over the years and as we’ve grown and developed, the girls and results have flourished. Our players and parents are highly committed and driven and the relationship these girls and parents have on and off the pitch have makes for a really special team!
Having just come back from our first ever tour we’re excited for the cup final and to see what the 24/25 season brings!
5 miles in!

Our first ever Tour completed! ✅
The girls headed off to Bournemouth for an R&T tour this weekend! It was a brilliant weekend of football with the girls playing 180 minutes of a decent standard of football against some strong opposition! A really positive experience for everyone involved!
This group of girls and their parents have a strong and close relationship on and off of the pitch and to be able to experience the girls fist tour as a combined unit made it all the more special!
Our parents are the die hard type supporters of all the children and support them in every capacity possible. This limitless commitment which is matched by our players desire makes for a special type of team!
Brilliant football, but most importantly memories for life made!
Pleased to have won the HUGE spirit and fair play award trophy given to us by the tournament organisers and referees. They said we fully understood how to enjoy the tour experience and were respectful throughout! 👏🙌⚽️
Next year we fly abroad for Tour ✈️
Our last Bristol girls league game today away to Yatton!
An absolute class act of sportsmanship from Yatton who gave the girls a guard of honour and clapped them out onto the pitch!
A brilliant end to end game!
38 league games for both teams this season with a combined 35 wins! 🙌
Season over! Job well done ✅
