Run Coach Angela
Angela MacAusland is an England Athletics Qualified Personal Running Coach, based in Bath.
Coach Angela works with runners of all abilities and loves helping runners achieve their goals as much as she loves running (which is quite a lot!)

“I achieved 30 minutes of continual running yesterday – thanks to your excellent advice and coaching. I listened to what you said and followed the programme to the letter - 4 weeks ago I struggled to run for even a few minutes”

'I cannot recommend Angela as a coach highly enough'
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Found this on an old noticeboard - just as I looked out of the window to see blue sky when 10 minutes ago it was raining hard and windy.
Happy New Year from me and mr me
A new use of Christmas leftover food - as running fuel ☺️ cold roast potatoes with sumac or truffle dust are amazing.
All this and a flapjack bar fuelled my 16 mile run yesterday.
And a huge meal the night before of leftover turkey, vegetables and rice.

"I signed up for coaching with Angela at the beginning of the year having never run more than a 5k, with a goal to run a half marathon in October.
I couldn’t have asked for a better coach.
Angela was encouraging and supportive whilst also ensuring I remained accountable and stuck to my training as much as I could.
I finished my half marathon and can 100% say I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Angela’s support.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a coach who will help you reach your goals”
Got a few looks this morning on the cycle path

I vote for Bath Abbey being lit up all year round - such an iconic sight in Bath

Angela has completely changed both the way I think about running and the way I run”
Oops - I seem to have added another pair of pink Hokas to my collection!

As many of you know - I also am the Owner of Run Bath and we have running groups for all levels from Beginners to Ultra runners, so this weeks feedback is from one of the runners in the beginners group.
Christmas lights run
One of the disadvantages of working outdoors is that when it’s raining - I get wet!
A lot of my coaching sessions involve running and I can’t always stay toasty warm in my dry robe.
On wet days I have at least 4 changes of clothes in my car.
But I would 100% not swap this for working in an office 9 to 5.
Sunday Runday with the guys 🥰
Strength training day yesterday - focusing not on lifting heavy - but mobility, activation and technique.

“Angela is a wealth of knowledge and talent.
Her sessions are highly structured with clear intended outcomes that inform and enrich your learning.
She also cares about coaching as it’s more than a job to her because she believes in not just running but running with efficiency and effectiveness so that you can really enjoy it!
She is so easy to relate to as well and has empathy for an individual’s coaching needs.
I’m sure her sessions made the difference to my Bath Half performance which exceeded my expectations.
Highly recommended!.”
Checked out the Bath Christmas Market yesterday - it was really cold, but the Gluhwein helped.
The tree is up !
Decided to dust off the old fake tree from the attic instead of a real tree.
Lots and lots of lights and as many baubles and it could tolerate without collapsing.
It may be a bit over the top, but it brightens up the gloom of November.
Protein and carb focus for todays brunch (and pre-coaching snack)
Bit of a wet chilly 12.5 miles today (in total) - saw a canal boat that reminded me of my dad.
Chilly but super fun coaching session today at Yate Athletics track - helping a client work on his 5km PB race pace.
