Can't choose a colour of headband? Problem solved!!

These rainbow headbands have been really popular at previous markets. They're beautiful, cheerful & will go well with pretty much any outfit 👍 so today I've been rustling up a few more so I'm stocked up for the .makers.market on Saturday.

This Saturday will be my first time at the Creative Makers Market in Bradford on Avon. I've heard such good things about this market so I'm excited to finally be there!

My new favourite mug 😍 I feel a bit bad for my old favourite... but I guess that's life!

This beauty has a very slight hairline crack on the handle so it's not sellable & so I get to enjoy it instead!!

P.s. am I the only one that has a favourite mug to start the day right?! Honestly cheers me up so much 🤣

I've not really done much sculptural work before so I'm having a bit of experiment & play around today...

These will be jewellery dishes where you can store your rings on the birds tails! 🐦

I have a system!!! 😅

It totally makes sense to be layering the different glazes on different items at the same time so as to save time while coats dry... It's a time consuming process, each colour needs 3 coats & on some items I use 3 different colour combinations... & every time I think I'll remember what coat I'm on on which item every time I'm always sadly mistaken!!! 🤣🤦‍♀️

Plus it's good to have a record of what I've done on each one so that when it comes out of the kiln I know how to hopefully make it again!

This new guy came out of the kiln today... he's a Philodendron & he's turned out great! I know nothing beats a Monstera leaf these days but what do you all think... shall I make more?!

Home grown raspberries... in the garden... in the wonkiest berry bowl ever 😅

Sometimes the kiln can play absolute havoc. Things comes out of the bisque firing looking lovely & then come out of the glaze firing like they've been sat on by an elephant!! Such a mystery... & now my house is going to be full of all the wonky ones that aren't good enough to go elsewhere! Think I can learn to love this one...

Happy National Sewing Machine Day! No idea what the point of the day is I'm afraid but here's a pic of a very big smile on my birthday girl last week as she unwrapped her sewing machine 🥰 like mother like daughter... & now it's all set up it turns out it's much better than mine so think she's going to have to share! 🤣

Well this glaze didn't come out as I expected 🤣 still lovely but a lot greyer bluey than I thought considering this has Smokey Merlot glaze on top! 🤷‍♀️

In deepest, darkest first lockdown we made a birthday bunting together as a family to hang up for my daughter's 5th birthday. It was an emotional time celebrating in such a strange time but the banner we made comes out regularly throughout the year now, for every birthday, & brings a smile to our faces. It means so much more to us than a shop bought one ever could, made by us as a family to celebrate every family birthday going forward ❤️

This is the first demo of what will hopefully soon be my birthday bunting craft kit. This is a planet friendly craft kit - made using card offcuts, scraps of felt & ribbons, beads from broken jewellery & random buttons that seem to collect in my house out of nowhere 🤣 Each set will be completely unique & will make the best family heirloom...

I made a basket!!! Far tougher physically & mentally than I expected 🤣 but I loved learning a new skill & I'm amazed that I made something that actually looks like a basket!

Thank you for a fantastic day, all your know how & your amazing patience with us all! & thanks for the cakes & drinks that kept us going. I'd have given up at photo 4 without the cake if I'm honest!

I think I might be finally happy with my ceramic flower diffusers - testing out the essential oils on this set as we speak 😊

Having had our half dead eucalyptus tree removed today there were few branches of other plants that became accidental casualties... but now they've become a slightly unusual bouquet in my first cloud vase 😀 I was slightly disappointed with how this looked once glazed, it's just got some unevenness to the glaze, but I think it has potential... the shape is beautiful so I will make more! It will get there 🤞

A lovely day out today for a veeery belated birthday treat - a potter about in the Cotswolds & a visit to the best garden centre in the world... Spent far too much time admiring all these beautiful houseplant leaves & planning some new trinket & soap dish designs 🤣What else could a girl possibly want?!

Well maybe some absolutely delicious treats from , the raspberry custard tart was the best!!👌

Very versatile I promise... but definitely not the bowl for a ton of pancakes 🤣

No filter needed on these beauties!! The glaze colours are stunning but the best thing about them is that they really are such a useful size & so versatile!

& yes we are having more pancakes again today for breakfast! 🤣 it's raining out so who can blame us...

Having got an order for these scalloped bowls I've been busy making more & it's fascinating to watch the colour of the clay change as it dries. The darkest is wettest, made today. The top one is fully dry & middle, well, somewhere in the middle! Plus it'll change again when fired 🤯

Having these drying next to my vase of tulips I'm thinking my next creation should be a scalloped vase 😂 The scalloped edge seems to go so perfectly with the shape of the tulips! So watch this space...
