The Glass Loft
I help people to find their passion for glass in a dedicated studio in Bristol. Playtime with colour.
Come and make some stunning icicles out of glass!
Saturday 23rd November, 10-1pm, Bristol BS4 5QH
This is a relaxing and fun session in a small group, where you will learn to cut glass safely and play with colour and shape to make your own individual set of icicles. Your work will then be kiln fired, ready for you to display, and you will learn about glass fusing.
Suitable for curious beginners, find out about the world of glass. Also makes a great early Christmas present experience.

Elmer on Dundry Hill
One of my first copper foiling projects when I was learning, and now he has a great view in the window of my dedicated glass teaching space in Bristol, bringing an extra dollop of good cheer to the room!
Throwback to Kate’s stunning tulip privacy screen in her bay window. This is a leaded panel and took many, many hours of patience and diligence to complete. I first got to know Kate when she was working on this, and saw immediately that she was the sort of person who is up for a challenge! What a privilege to have helped her 😃
Meet Tracy, proud creator of this wonderfully zingy panel, destined for one of my garden frames!
Nowhere better to hang out and do a spot of stained glass on a chilled Friday.
Both sides soldered after a week of cutting and leading before and after classes! This one is nearly in the bag, just cementing cleaning and polishing to go 😃

Thank you so much to everyone at for our tours today! We all loved seeing your glass restoration work, listening to you, and having our questions answered. What a joy!

Thinking that Martin’s beach huts are the most detailed I have seen!
That bucket and spade…
“When I’m cutting glass, time doesn’t exist,” she says. “I’ll be in my studio working and when I look up, it will be 8pm. I love every part of the process.”
I have seen so many people flourish like this!
A new start after 60: it took 70 years to find my inner artist. At 82, I’m in my studio every day Former nurse Norma Geddes took a 10-day stained-glass course on a whim and found her passion. Now she exhibits widely and her work sells out
