Friday I found a book in a charity shop that had one of my images on… then a couple of hours later I saw one of my images on TV featured in an old Qi show…I didn’t have time to grab a better screen shot unfortunately.

I hardly ever see how my images get used & then suddenly I see two images published that I’d never seen before in the same day.

Timelapse of a 2.5 day shoot in the studio of 19 bands & artists from Bath Spa commercial music … all with their own ideas of how they want to promote themselves as musicians…. So a different idea/concept/lighting every hour….all the images are straight out of lightroom with a quick grade/crop.

Back in the early 1990s I was shooting the Drum & bass scene in London for various music magazines & I photographed jumpin’ Jack Frost for an article… jump forward to a couple of weeks back & I had the pleasure to shoot him again in my studio… time flies!!

For 30 years I’ve followed Aba Shanti-I sound system from the early days under the arches in Vauxhall at the House of Roots way back in the early 1990s ( where this picture was taken) to last nights celebration in Bristol. Many years of conscious music & spiritual late night sessions & still the best….thanks.
