I recently made this custom order, "Baka Hachimaki," a Japanese headband for my loyal customer, who has supported Tamago Tokyo since I started 🩷

The request was to make a headband with a courageous message for the customer's future challenge, just like the ones from Doragon Sakura(ドラゴン桜), a Japanese TV series based on the manga. ≧◡≦ "Baka" actually means stupid in English. In the show, they wear it to be motivated for their entrance exam.

It was the first time I made calligraphy on fabric, and it was a really good experience to try something new. I used Rosa acrylic textile paint; it's easy to use on fabric. I tested durability with machine washing, and it turned out to be a great result. I highly recommend it👍

My customer was happy with her order and I'm super happy to hear the feedback!!

If you are curious about the show, it's on Netflix, "Dragon Sakura season 2" involves a bunch of high school students trying to get into Tokyo University. It's funny and some tears🥲 I enjoyed watching the show!
