𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲'𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 🩷

Sophie has Cerebral Palsy. She is a bright and interactive wee girl who loves to have fun with her family and friends.

When she was a baby her ATNR reflex made it very difficult for her to bring her head to the middle or turn it to the right, it was especially hard when she was lying down or sitting in her buggy where she had less support. This made it difficult for Sophie to learn by exploring and interacting with her environment and those around her 👫

Sophie was tried in the Neo+ for the first time when she was 8 months old. The additional support at her shoulders, trunk and pelvis meant she was able to overcome the strong effect of the reflex and she immediately was able to turn her head to the right without assistance. Her arms were closer to her trunk which meant it was easier for her to attempt to reach for toys.

Sophie used Neo+ a few times every day after she had been out playing on the mat. As it became easier for her to turn her head, she learned how to do this herself. By 11 months she could keep her head in the middle and actively turn it to the right despite the fact her ATNR reflex was still strong and present.

Using the Neo+ also helped Sophie with her head control by strengthening her core.
