Building the squat racks at the new Fortius SGPT Gym. Opening day Sunday 18th August and fully open the next day, this has been a fantastic project from start to finish to make Northern Irelands biggest SGPT(small group personal training) facility
As if 1 house renovation isn't stressful enough sure I may as well start another 1π€£π€£. Everything in the house is getting done apart from the bathroom which is recently new. The large bedroom is going to be turned back into the original layout to make 2 separate rooms
Full house renovation currently on the go.Everthing has got totally stripped out,new plastering and electrics are well underway with the house being ready towards the end of August to start trimming outππ¨πͺ

PVC shiplap cladding(empire blue colour) fitted around the walls of 2no deck areas in a property in Castlerock for less maintenance. Tobermore copings(slate colour) were cemented down across the tops of the walls and pvc cappings were fitted at either side of the driveway. Feature wall panelled out in this fantastic snooker room. We followed the angle on either side of the ceiling and kept it parallel. This 1 definitely got the head scratching and brain ticking into overtime ππAfew pictures to put up and lights above the snooker table to wire to finish it all offπ
1.Stair treads and risers cladded in Grey Vinyl with L.E.D sensor strip lights fitted underneath. 2.Sliding glass door hatch cut out and fitted in the upstairs offices of City Air Express. 6mm toughened glass x2, chrome finger pulls and aluminium top and bottom track were used. The frame was finished around the outside with 3" architrave
Bespoke bedroom furniture supplied and fitted.A floating desk with worktop and 2no drawers along with 2no floating shelves fitted in between the bedroom alcove. On the other wall a vanity unit and desk was fitted along with 4no low level drawer units. The units were made and sprayed by Wilson Hand Crafts with a Farrow and Ball Dove Tail colour. A mirror will be stuck on the front of the vanity unit door when it is ready during the week. I had also done work previously at this customers house. I made a mud room unit in their utility room and made 2no drawers and fronts in the washing machine space. It was good to see it all painted and looking fantastic π
1.New ensuite shower cubicle. New shower tray and black multi panel board fitted to two sides of shower tray.2no glass shower screens and new bar shower and shower riser fitted. Plumbing works done by PJC Plumbing & Heating. 2.Old velux window removed and a new composite velux fitted. 3.3no doors hung upstairs. 4.Roofspace floored both sides at eves
Start of an exciting new project in the old kerr Tyres unit in Duncrue starting in a week and a half,keep me and the team busy for a while, lol
1.This boiler unit just had doors on and wasn't very practical. The framework of the unit was kept and some existing doors were reused.New shelves and gables were made out of oak melamine chipboard and pipes behind the shelves boxed in with MDF. Everything around the boiler is easily removed if necessary for regular servicing/maintenance. 2.7no internal doors hung
1.Wall tiles removed from around bath splashback and replaced with multi panel board. An area of old plasterboard was cut out and replaced, then a waterproof membrane was painted on the wall before the panels were fitted. Chrome trims were fitted around the outside edge of the panels and a new bath panel was also fitted. The existing bath got new bath shower mixer taps and a new waste and overflow. Plumbing works done by PJC Plumbing & Heating. 2.2no lean too roofs for out houses got new corrupted PVC roof sheets.A PVC flashing kit was also fitted to the roof along the wall at the back of the property. New guttering to be fitted by others. 3.The bedroom alcove was cladded in MDF. Twin slot adjustable shelf brackets were fitted along with 5no shelves made out of 22mm MDF. New architraves were fitted also to finish it off
1.New back garden fence using 6ft boards to replace fence panels. 2.Garage roof space floored. 3.New fence using 1.6meter boards. 4.Loft ladder fitted. 5.Bedroom got a new door, frame, skirting and architrave. A hockey stick was also fitted around the outside of the architrave
Full bathroom refurb. After everything was ripped out the floor had to be tracked for new pipework. Once the pipes were fitted the floor was filled with cement then self levelling was poured over the whole floor and then an Aspen Oak LVT Vinyl click floor fitted.Once the bath was fitted 2no walls were cladded with a tile effect multi panel board.Electric shower, chrome towel radiator, sink with exposed chrome waste and floating drawer unit were then fitted and the existing toilet and cistern was reused. Lean too roof built above back door and kitchen window. Structure was formed with 5x2 treated timber, roof sheets were 3m x2m and 6mm thick pvc. Jointing strips, end strips, guttering and fascia boards were also added. Customer to finish off painting the inside timbers

Kitchen refurb. This old dated kitchen got a complete makeover. We got rid of the wallnut doors, drawer fronts, kick panel and gables and replaced them all new.They were all cut from moisture resistant MDF and sprayed Stiffkey Blue from Farrow and Ball. New tiles were fitted around the kitchen splashback as well as a new sink fitted. After the floor was poured with self levelling, a Country Elm Oak LVT vinyl floor plank was stuck down and then new skirting boards fitted along with 2no pre-made radiator covers. All the doors, drawer fronts, gables and kick panel were made and sprayed by Wilson Hand Crafts, kitchen splashback tiled by CRJ McGookin bathroom refits ,floor self levelled and fitted by David Logue and sink plumbed by Joe Glover

1.Bedroom refurb.The existing wardrobes were extend to the ceiling to allow us to get bigger doors on. The wardrobes were firstly moved over tighter to one side of the wall to allow us to get a door on at the opposite side and make the 3no shelves at the chimney breast longer and deeper. Sensor light strips were also fitted so that when the doors open the light shines into the cupboards. 3no sheets of oak slatwall panel were fitted to the wall at the bed headboard and new skirting and architraves fitted. 2.Reclaimed oak laminate flooring fitted in a bedroom with new skirting and architraves
Media wallπ₯πΊ Media wall with a 50" TV, 5ft long fire, sound bar speaker and 2no floating shelves either side made out of 9x2 timber
1.The stud wall on the upstairs landing was removed and replaced with new white primed newel posts base rail and spindles. The handrail was done in pine which the customer is going to give it a light coat of stain. The wall at the bottom side of the stairs was opened up to allow more natural light into the kitchen. . 2.Utility makeover. A new wallnut worktop and black composite sink was fitted along with new cabinet doors. Viny floor fitted by others. 3.The stud wall underneath the stairs was opened up to alow for more storage. The tongue and groove paneling on the staircase was removed and replaced with MDF giving it a better finish when painted
Garage build. This customer contacted us after they had put the posts and stud for the walls up to finish their project. We joisted out the roof with 9x2 timber, after the customer had fitted a waterproof membrane around everything we used black fleeced ribbed effect sheets for the roof. The 3 sides were cladded in white PVC and we were able to source a 2nd hand PVC door for the back. Fascia and guttering also fitted and we were able to recommend a company for the garage door, saving the customer around Β£600 from the original quote that they were going to go withπ
1.Staircase. This customer had bought this property to rent it out, the spiral staircase had to be replaced to meet the regulations.We fitted a new staircase with a top winder, newel posts, handrail and spindles. 2.Gate replaced between the back of a house and front of garage and cables and pipes boxed in along the top
1.Loft ladder fitted and roof space floored.A long shelf fitted down 1 side at the eves was also formed. 2.Afew pictures recently sent in of work all finished painted. 1st job was wall panelling up either side of the stairs and handrail, newel post and spindles at the top landing. 2nd job was newel posts, handrail, spindles and the stair stringers
Plenty going on at this customers house to keep me busy. Cupboards were made in the utility room to suit the customers requirements and on the other side a large drawer was made and below the recycle bin was stored and brackets made so it could slide in and out. Mushroom Oak laminate floor was fitted from the front hall and living room through to the back dining room. New skirting and architraves were also fitted in these areas along with 3no new doors. Wall panelling was fitted from the front door to right around the dining room and also at the upstairs landing.The ugly water pipes that were in the corner of the dining room were removed and feed through the back of the wall. It was a pleasure to work on this huge decking area at this fantastic property.6x2 treated timber was used for the framework and the same material was used for the deck boards to match the existing. 6x1 boards were used around the perimeter.Decorative stones will be filled in around the trees by the costumer. Fingers crossed they will be able to get some use out of it over the next couple of weeks π€π. Video in comments
Last job before I head off for some sunβοΈππ». Outbuilding roof space floored and roof ladder fitted before the ceiling gets plasterboarded and skimmed. Hopefully bring some sun back to finish a huge deck we've been working onπ
