📍High Street, Belfast
In 2018 after 90 years the Ulster Sports Club closed it's doors. It quickly reopened, under the same name, as a public bar. The banner, designed by James Ashe can be seen as you drive into High Street.
Built in 1906 just after Belfast was given City status by Queen Victoria, this was because of our thriving linen, rope-making and shipbuilding. This building replaced the previous ‘town hall’ which is still standing on Victoria Street.
