How can kinesiology help you? Kinesiology is a natural therapy that works with your body to facilitate the self-healing process. It is a safe, natural and drug-free therapy which uses gentle muscle testing to identify imbalances within the body. I tailor your session resulting in a therapy designed just for you based on your. I can help with areas of pain, digestive issues, tiredness .. to name a
My homemade sauerkraut will be ready in about a week. I enjoy one to two portions daily. It’s super easy to make. I have also invested in a fermenting jar with a special lid. Makes life easier 😊
If you’ve never tried fermented foods before, start slowly. Do you experience have digestive issues like bloating after meals? I can find out the underlying issue through muscle testing. Reach out and let’s get to the root of your digestive problems.
Your hormone system is like an orchestra. If one instrument is out of tune, it affects the whole performance. Similarly, if one hormone is out of balance, it can impact on the whole body.
Hormones do more than regulate women’s menstrual cycle. They wake us up in the morning, help us sleep at night, regulate body temperature and manage our fight and flight response.
Kinesiology/muscle response testing can help balance your hormones. If you are feeling out of balance, I can work with you to help harmonise your hormones.
Your body sends warning signs about deeper health issues, but many people focus on the symptoms, which doesn’t necessarily address the root cause. This is like silencing a fire alarm without putting out the fire!
Recognising the body as an integrated system of body, mind and spirit is crucial. Ignoring these warning signs means real health and healing will elude us.
Every part of your body is connected. Leg pain might be stress-related, skin outbreaks could stem from digestive imbalances and neck pain may be linked to emotional issues. Addressing the root cause is more effective than just easing the pain. With kinesiology, I help with both - easing your pain and finding the root cause. Using muscle response testing, I can identify what your body needs to help both ease the pain and address the root cause of health issues, leading to realignment, balance and improved overall wellbeing.
If you like the sound of that, please get in touch. I have now moved and my new clinic is in Emsworth.
Wishing you a very Happy (and healthy!) New Year, with and all things bright-
see you on the other side!

“So the Shortest Day came and the year died
And everywhere down the centuries of the snow‐white world
Came people singing, dancing,
To drive the dark away.
They lighted candles in the winter trees;
They hung their homes with evergreen;
They burned beseeching fires all night long
To keep the year alive.
And when the new year's sunshine blazed awake
They shouted, reveling.
Through all the frosty ages you can hear them
Echoing behind us ‐ listen!
All the long echoes, sing the same delight,
This Shortest Day,
As promise wakens in the sleeping land:
They carol, feast, give thanks,
And dearly love their friends,
And hope for peace.
And so do we, here, now,
This year and every year.
Welcome, Yule!”

My clients say:
“I have been seeing Kath for two years now and it’s been a pleasure having her look after me. Initially it was due to fatigue I’d been experiencing after long hours in the office. Within three weeks things got a lot better and my life has been considerably better ever since. I don’t think Kath realises just how important this has been on my life; life got good again, it restarted. I greatly appreciate her skills in getting to the root problem. Kath has also since treated my family too; my daughter for a muscle problem, and my son for a wheat intolerance. The trust we have built up is all-important. I’m happy to recommend her to anyone and everyone.”

The season for surrender: Winter.
Silence is productive; it’s here to enhance your outer life, too. One of the most productive things it can do for you is to go inwards and correct some of the problems that people typically encounter in winter, especially in colder climates.
We can address issues in our outer world by going inwards.
Winter is a reflective season.
One of my favourite tools in Kinesiology is Bach flower remedies.
Walnut is very useful during this season, facilitating the art of letting go, releasing old patterns and embracing change—a perfect companion for shedding what no longer serves you during this time of transition.
Something we can all enjoy this time of year 🌞 ❄️
☀️❄️
If you are feeling a little out of sorts this Winter, you could try boosting your kidney energy. Try marching on the spot: Your Kidney meridian begins in the soles of your feet. When marching, drop your foot flat on the floor. Once you get the feel for it, place your hands in prayer position and march for 5 minutes (or longer) every day.

The Winter season correlates energetically to Kidney energy. The Kidney acts as the powerhouse of the body. If your Kidney is out of balance or not functioning optimally, you may not feel quite like yourself during the winter season.
You can boost your Kidney energy by rubbing your ears: The ears are the sensory organ connected to the Kidney. Place your hands over your ears and rub for 5 minutes, or until they are red and warm to the touch.
Leave the leaves til May- this will give you more time for other things!
Just as Nature has the ability to continually rebalance itself, the body is born with the wisdom to rebalance and heal.
Through Kinesiology I can help you identify the root cause of any imbalance and guide you to rebalance your health.
Chronic (long term) inflammation is the root cause of for many age related diseases. These may not display symptoms until later in life, but the underlying causes are often driven by inflammation which has been allowed to continue out of control for a number of years.
Adding turmeric to your diet in your cooking, in golden milk or as a supplement is a great way to future-proof your system for inflammation long term.
You could be protecting yourself against muscle and joint pain, allergies and irritable bowel. Equally important, there is growing evidence to link chronic inflammation with poor cognitive/brain function and mental health conditions such as low mood.
You absolutely can - there is always hope. (Especially with kinesiology!)

Closing my Berkhamsted clinic
Today I’m sharing some news that comes with a mix of emotions. I have decided to relocate to the south coast. This feels like the right time for a new chapter in my life. I’d like you to know that this wasn’t an easy decision to make. As I prepare for an exciting adventure ahead, it’s with great sadness that I will leave so many loyal and valued clients behind.
I have been practising kinesiology and massage in Berkhamsted for almost 20 years. My clinic started in my home, and then I moved to the beautiful space in Naturality 10 years ago. I don’t know where the time has gone. My clinic has brought me some amazing clients, and I have loved every minute of it. Saying goodbye is going to be incredibly hard.
Since making the decision, it’s all come together rather quickly. We will be moving to Emsworth in Hampshire early next year, so it’s all systems go!
Clinic closure
My clinic will officially close at the end of this year. For many of my current clients, I know this will come as a bolt out of the blue. I have a few slots available between now and the end of December, so if you don’t have an appointment booked in and would like one, please do get in touch.
If you would like to continue with kinesiology or massage after then, please let me know and I will recommend someone. I have a network of local therapists that I could put you in touch with.
A little request
All being well, I plan to open a clinic from my new home in March. As I will be starting from scratch, I would be extremely grateful if you could please send me a testimonial. Most people have no idea what kinesiology is, and your endorsement could make all the difference with helping me find new clients. Your individual experience of us working together to improve your health and wellbeing could really resonate with someone.
Finally, words cannot express how grateful I am for your part in making my time in Berkhamsted so enjoyable, purposeful and meaningful. And if you would like to pop down and visit me sometime, you are most welcome. Please do keep in touch.
In the meantime ... eat well, live healthy and stay happy!
Kath
Your body continually sends you signs to warn you of a deeper health issue you shouldn’t ignore. Instead of addressing these signs, many people treat the symptoms. Some people even remove a body part hoping the issue will go away once the symptomatic organ or body part is removed. But removing a body part doesn’t pinpoint why the condition occurred in the first place. That’s just like taping over a car’s warning light.
Without a deeper appreciation and recognition of the body as a wholly integrated system of body, mind, and spirit, we will continue to treat symptoms as the root cause.
Without recognising and addressing the body’s warning signs, real health and healing will continue to elude us.
Every part of your body is connected. A pain in your leg might be related to stress, regular skin outbreaks could be the result of an imbalance within your digestive system, or that niggling neck pain may be linked to emotional issues. In the long term establishing and treating the cause of the problem is more effective than simply easing the pain. Through an individual analysis I will identify your needs and offer a personalised therapy to help you realign, rebalance and start living your life to the full.
