From the Depths Promotions present From the Depths of Central America, Death-Thrash metal band Mantra Costa Rica who will be coming to Berwick Upon Tweed on Wednesday 14th August 2024.
After originally forming in 1988 and previously sharing a stage with the likes of Slayer, Anthrax, Lacuna Coil and Paul Di'anno (Iron Maiden) Mantra will bring a sound never before heard in Berwick and will be supported by local metalheads Drenched

The beginning...
Featuring the "crème de la crème" of young musicians from the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland, all three members of Drenched have previously performed with The Inspired! Project (The Creative School for Young Musicians) ran annually by Berwick-based musician and producer Iain Petrie.
The band began when Bodhi witnessed Callum performing in Inspired 3 in 2018. Bodhi was frustrated at a lack of musicians his own age in Berwick and approached Callum (from Duns) to jam together. Bodhi was impressed by Callum's Inspired! performance and his song choices of Green Day and Nirvana.
The boys were soon joined by Ryan Robertson (who also featured in Inspired 3) on bass/vocals.
The following year Inspired 4 in 2019 featured Marc Mitchell from Eyemouth as a singer/songwriter and Bodhi was drumming as part of the Inspired! house band. Again, impressed by his raw vocals and grunge song choices, Marc was invited to jam with Drenched and joined shortly afterwards.
