A strange feeling, followed by the best statement anyone has ever made to me...
So what does the barbed wire represent to you? I see this scene all to often on my walks... Human manufacturing interfering with nature. But I'm not against it, especially when needed for safety and to preserve areas of beauty. But this always makes me think about trauma when I see a tree growing around a metal wire. We as humans have a way of internalising some nasty crap that's happened to us. At the time, the pain, discomfort and wounds are unbearable. Like this barbed wire, they sting, burn and hurt. But we keep going. We live on and continue to grow. Just like this tree. The scars are still visible. The wire is still there. Embedded. It will go deeper as the tree continues to grow and survive. You can't forget your past or trauma. It won't disappear. You WILL continue to live and WILL learn to grow and survive with this deep inside of you. Be like this tree. Push through the pain. Because you are still as strong and beautiful as you were before. 🌳🤗❤️
Trust Belief Success This time I had to place my trust in my equipment and the instructors checking everything before I got there. I then had to believe in the process. Believe in myself and believe that it's all going to work out ok. I nailed it. Achieved it. Succeeded. None of the success from today would have been achieved if I hadn't trusted, believed and pushed myself to succeed. A bit like going into business for yourself. You need to trust your idea, plan, product and desire. You need to believe that it will all work out in the end. You can and will succeed many times along your journey. Mini wins, big achievements, smashing goals. It all adds to growth. I'm so thankful for the community I am part of. So thankful for the support and guidance they give. So blessed to have the resources and training at hand. I went out to play today knowing my business was busy working away in the background through automated posts in social media. I had 3 people reach out to me for help changing their lives whilst I was playing in the trees. How many of you get time and financial freedom to "play" whilst you earn an income?
