A bit of fun from our Xmas meeting, great to see a few more getting involved with 17 drivers at the last few meetings and more people keen to get involved.

Our next meeting is 7:15 - 10:00pm on Thursday the 19th of January then fortnightly (will post dates up soon once hall confirmed)

We will be running these indoors until April then we plan to make a small outdoor track at our new permanent Buggy track in Bexhill😉

Another super fun night at Rally spec!

Thanks to the Racers for their combined help, we were up and running in 16 minutes last night which is pretty good!

Here's a little B final action, made this week's track a bit tighter as a test which added another 2 seconds to my lap times with 13.5 being the quickest lap time.

We race Tamiya TT02/01 Rally Cars on a wooden floor at Bexhill Amateur Athletic club, TN39 4HU.

Generally this is fortnightly Thursday Evenings 7:10-10:00pm

This is a spec class.

Basic TT02/01 kit with friction shocks.
( No "S" type cars allowed)

Torque Tuned motor(22t max pinion) heatsink/ fans are permitted bur not essential, Kit Speedo or hobbywing 1060 as a replacement.

Option parts that are permitted....

Ball bearing kit, highly recommended if your building a new car and cost less than £10.

Front Universal joints, £15, not essential but a sensible mod for racing, Fast trax sell these make sure if your buying some that they are for the basic kit as they are different on the "S" kit.

That's all you are allowed to add to the basic kit, also no chassis modifications are allowed.

You must run the Fast trax Rally Block tyres as this is a control tyre.

Servo, battery are open but lighter lcg shortys will be required to run a 50g weight to make it the same sort of weight as standard Shorty.

These cars accept Shorty lipos and standard stick packs. Some foam will be needed for shortys.

We run I laps timing system so you will need a compatible pt to count, the club will soon have these to buy/rent.

We have limited time and space so we are looking to cap at 21 which makes 3x7 car races

Racing will be heads up line start and we will try a variety of qualifying/final types as we progress, we will get in as much Racing in as we can and starting as soon as we can.

It's a new venture so small rule changes may happen as we learn more about this class.
