IMPORTANT - Change of location for one of Sidley's polling stations

In the past, Sidley has had two polling stations: Freedom Church Hall and All Saints Church Hall.

This year, due to the change of use at All Saints' hall (which is now used as a nursery), the polling station formerly at All Saints Hall will now be at Freedom Church Hall.

This means that wherever you live in Sidley, you will need to go to Freedom Church in order to vote in person on May 4th.

There will still be two separate polling stations, one using the main doors and one using the side doors, and information about this will be on your A4 polling card as well as signage on/in the building.

You can find out more about the details of this year's local elections here: https://www.rother.gov.uk/elections-and-voting/current-and-forthcoming-elections/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=socialmedia&utm_content=rotherdc&utm_campaign=hootsuite_default_campaign_tracking&utm_term=10af5350-9e93-4c26-aab6-c65a95d81891

Get Sidley Voting is a non-political campaign to encourage voter turnout and registration for the 2023 local elections in Sidley.

This campaign has been started by Cllr Sam Coleman of Sidley following changes to voting laws requiring Photo I.Ds at polling booths and in light of lower voter turnout in Sidley compared to other wards in Rother.

If you support increased participation in local elections, no matter who you want people to vote for, please like, follow and promote this page so that the message 'Get Sidley Voting' can reach more people in the village.
