IT NEVER GETS EASIER... YOU JUST GET STRONGER!
Had a cracking session in the gym last night. Really wasn’t in the mood for it after two very full on arm and ab classes online. I was feeling tired but made myself go and push through a chest and tris session. Gotta tell you... I frocking loved it! Hitting some pbs and upping the weights now which is so motivating! It’s got me itching to go back and do it all again!
Keep at it gang. However you train just keep going and be proud of those small gains... they all add up to something bigger!!!

The sun is shining in London today and it feels like Summer is on its way! With that in mind, when BBQ season kicks in will you still be visiting the gym or switching to more outdoor based workouts?
I love a good outdoor boot camp but would love to find a park nearby with some decent outdoor gym kit. Any suggestions South East London people?!

So many people go and attack a muscle with one exercise not realising that slight variations can change the part of the muscle being used!
Try switching between standing and seated calf raises to get a more fully developed muscle and start exploring variations of your other exercises too!

Getting into the right frame of mind isn’t just about focus it’s about coordination. Make sure you keep your brain actively concentrating by creating complex alternating movements to split your focus and train your brain!

BE PATIENT
It can take years to develop bad habits and an unhealthy lifestyle, so why do we think we will see results in just a couple of weeks of being healthier.
Consistency is the key. Stay motivated and be persistent. It WILL take time, but remember you are building a lifestyle that you can maintain long term!
WOULD YOU RATHER... work out with a buddy or work out solo?
Going to the gym can sometimes feel intimidating, or maybe you struggle to keep motivated. Finding a training partner can help you stay on track and push each other along. If you need an extra push reach out to friends.. you may be surprised to find that they feel the same and would appreciate a gym buddy!
If you do need to train alone you can always keep in touch with other friends who work out and swap stats and goals. You can then check in with each other and encourage each other to keep working.
If you don’t know anyone working on similar things consider joining a fitness class that you are interested in. It’s a great way to meet other people with similar interests and goals!
It always seems impossible until it’s done!
