We can bend Bundy or Hydraulic tube up to 5m in length up to ø6mm diameter with 0.7mm wall thickness

Situated within our Brake Pipe production cell, our SOCO Bending Machine can program up to 49 bends per part, this means we can produce even the most complex of pipe routings.

The faster processing time means we can offer lower piece costs.

We supply both Single Brake Pipe assemblies and Multi Pipe Clusters for different market sectors.

Reduce weight, increase range

We are seeing an increasing drive to reduce the weight of products to help improve range and fuel consumption, one factor for achieving these is to change the materials used to manufacture parts from metal or rubber to plastic.

Our range of nylon pipes are used in multiple different systems including Battery Cooling, Fuel Transfer Lines, Breather Pipes, Manifolds, and Vapour Tubes to name a few.

We can process nylon tube up to ø20mm diamater, in lengths up to 1500mm long.

The high temperature PA11 tubes we use are also better for the environment as they are made from sustainable Caster Oil, which is natural and non-fossil fuel based.

In addition to this, our state-of-the-art nylon tube processing machine can produce rapid prototypes at a lower cost than traditional processing routes, so we can support quickly and competitively.

We recently welcomed Hamms to our Birmingham plant for a work experience placement.

She spent 2 days in production and 3 days in the quality department.

She really enjoyed seeing the factory in real life and how everything works together. She especially enjoyed experiencing the team work and how they overcome any problems that arise.

In Quality, she spent time with all the team where they did practical checks, quality testing of parts, and measurement of parts.

During the placement, Hamms learnt how important it is for the quality department to keep everything up to date at all times.

She stated that she really enjoyed her week at Lander and would definitely consider a career in manufacturing in the future.

DFM is the key to product realisation

Design For Manufacture is a vital part of the development of products from a designers vision on CAD to becoming a robust product that can repeatably be manufactured for years to come.

As part of the process, engineers need to consider materials, processes, volumes, and other influencing factors in order to achieve optimal design.

One of the key services that Lander offers its customers is support with Design for Manufacture. We have many years of experience in working closely with our customers from the early design phases in order to develop products and processes that are both cost efficient, robust, and repeatable.

Our Malvern plant supplies mainly the off highway and industrial power generation markets.

Incorporating a full fabrication line and an in-house powder coat and wet spray paint line, Malvern can produce tubular assemblies up to 12 inches in diameter.

With on site CNC bending capability for processing tubes up to ø150mm, this produces large diameter tube products at a more competitive cost and with greater product integrity, and a lower risk of leaking.

The plant specialises in producing a high variety of complex parts in low volumes.

Our West Bromwich plant supplies mainly the off highway and commercial vehicle markets.

Producing parts for a wide range of applications including Hydraulic Systems, Fuel Transfer, Cooling Systems, Breather Vent Pipes, and Turbo Feed and Drain pipes, we can process tubes from 4mm up to 50mm in diameter.
