In this design we flip the narrative of fear. In life there are things that appear to induce fear, when they actually shouldn’t. This design serves to remind us that our mind is not a place in which we should run from in fear. On the contrary, we should run towards it, time it and take control. After all, it’s the only thing we ever own.

PLATOPIA - THE DESIGN BEHIND OUR NAME
Plato was an Ancient Greek philosopher who believed virtuous thought was the key to life. This design see’s Plato’s ‘utopia”hindered by 7 sins of the modern world. Displayed silenced with tape over his mouth. We see 7 modern distractions which contribute to our modern day inability to think virtuously. Social Media, Money, War, Gang Culture, Extreme Vanity, S*x & Time. Be careful what influences are allowed to take up our time in life. Platopia is an ironic spin on the lack of philosophical meaning in modern times.
Our ‘Golden Age of Thought” design.
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was Roman emperor from 161 to 180 and a Stoic philosopher. He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors, and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace and stability for the Roman Empire lasting from 27 BC to 180 AD. This design serves to inspire virtuous thought. Celebrating a virtuous leader but equally highlighting the length of time which has pasted since virtue and leadership were hand in hand. We pay homage to the philosophy of Marcus Aurelius with this design

MEET TOM & ANNA
Our first cause takes us to Birmingham UK, where we meet 25 year old Tom & Anna. After 7 years together, recently moving into their own home, and a year of incredibly hard work, tragedy stuck. We work with the couple to tell their story, raise awareness and support them personally through Toms phase of recovery>
In April 2022 Tom was involved in a Road Traffic Accident as a result of unknowingly having Meningitis, Tom deteriorated at the wheel. Suffering life changing injuries, emotional and physical trauma, we aim to document this incredible story of love, strength, support.
The Design
The Tom & Anna Collection features x2 designs representative of their journey. We celebrate Anna as a strong loving partner, who through turmoil, has took the reins of their lives, while simultaneously offering and showing the strength and will that Tom needed in his darkest days. Equally we celebrate Tom’s incredible story of survival, strength of mind, through hallucinations, isolation and pain. Each Design also represents meningitis awareness.

What Next? The Documentary
in the coming months we will be producing a documentary film to bring Tom & Anna’s story to life in their own words. As we follow this couple, the subtle nuances in their designs will make more sense to the viewer. You will also be able to follow your contribution to supporting this cause.
