This low-fat, low-calorie bolognese combines lean pork mince with fennel and cherry tomatoes to give a burst of fresh flavours and two of your five-a-day
387 kcals 10g fat 30g protein
Serves 2 Ingredients
100g wholewheat linguine
2 tsp rapeseed oil
1 fennel bulb, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, sliced
200g pork mince with less than 5% fat
200g whole cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp vegetable bouillon powder
generous handful chopped basil
Ingredients

Everything in moderation! Is honestly the key to maintenance. I tend to be in a calorie deficit throughout the week to allow me to eat more indulgent food over the weekend.
It was lovely but tonight I am feeling bloated 🙈 bread and pasta don’t really agree with me
Last nights crispy sweet chilli beef. The beef was cooked in the ninja air fryer.
This is the 3rd thing we have tried. First thing we did was chicken wings and then nuggets and chips😂. So I guess this is our first proper meal following a recipe in the ‘Bored of lunch’ recipe book.
It was yummy! Not as crispy as we would have liked but it’s a healthy alternative.
I think our portion was around 700 cals.
BBQ’s don’t have to be all about greasy burgers and bread. These chicken skewers and sausages from the butchers were amazing.

First slimmer of the week award for July goes to Asha 🙌
She didn’t have a great start to the diet, constantly picking and falling off plan over the weekends. To be honest I nearly told her this diet isn’t for her 😂 I didn’t want her wasting any more money. She had been on and off for a couple of months and then all of a sudden she dug EXTRA deep and has been 100% for the last 14 days losing a total of 13lb!! Well done!

I have a private WhatsApp group just for my slimmers and a while back one of them shared this photo of their lemon cheese cake hack! 😲
I love how they all support each other
1 lemon yogurt bar
1 vanilla milkshake
2-3 drops lemon juice
1-2tsp mix-a-mousse
Lemon rind to decorate
Blitz bar in the nutribullet and divide between 2 ramekins, I used my old Gu ones. Press down with spoon.
Then make up the shake and blitz adding the m-a-m. Pour over the base. Grate some lemon rind on top to make it look pretty.
Refrigerate (doesn’t take long at all) and ENJOY 🍋 it’s blooming lovely 😄
Something that helps me maintain and keep my sweet addiction under control…
Instead of buying big bags of sweets I buy the multi pack of these mini bags. Firstly because they are a perfect size for the kids but secondly so I only have a small bag myself.
If I had a extra large bag (like those sharing bags) I would easily eat the whole bag within 5 minutes. Instead I have one or two packs of these and feel satisfied, especially if I have two! A couple of handfuls out of a large pack wouldn’t do that for me.
It’s like using a small plate so it tricks your brain.
Plus I can’t have too many jelly sweets or I get a pain in my eye 😂. Never got to the bottom of that but it’s true.
