Metal Adhesives
We are specialists in metal adhesion, and bonding solutions. Supplying a wide range of industries.
Even though you can't see dirt on your applications, there will be some there so it is always recommended that you clean the surface to be bonded before applying the adhesives. This will give you the best possible bond.
Grey Foam Tape LSE 1.1mm available from Metal Adhesives
Suitable for metals and plastics which have coatings on them which have low surface energy.
Sizes 12mm, 19mm, and 25mm
Specific slit widths or log rolls are available upon request
Service temperature – 40°c to 160°c
A10 Aluminium + known in simple terms as a ‘very high strength glue’ (A10+) which is available in 50ml and 400ml cartridges – it is another brilliant industrial metal adhesive. As with all bonding solutions, we stress that maximum effectiveness will be achieved with correct preparation of surfaces prior to application.
So, once you’ve wiped your surfaces over with IPA on a lint free cloth, you will attach the nozzle provided and engage the cartridge into your applicator gun. It’s then down to you to squeeze out the right amount of glue – we call this “beading” – for your application and then bring your substrates (surfaces or pieces) together.
You will notice that on our website page and on our product labels are guides to temperature resistance, suggested gaps to fill and curing (drying) times, and for this product we advise 12-24 hours for full strength.
As it says on it’s label, this will bond aluminium, steel, engineered plastics and composites. Temperature 220 powder coat cycle.
Grey foam acrylic tape is ideal for strutural bonding and suitable for metals and plastics which have coatings on them which have low surface energy.
Sizes 12mm, 19mm, and 25mm
Here is another "How to" video for you: How to ensure the correct mixing of two part adhesives: We recommend you mix a small amount onto some card - this will ensure it is correctly mixed.
High strength structural tapes are a cleaner and more precise method of bonding demanding metals and plastics applications than adhesives.
We have created a suite of "How to" videos to help you to get the most out of your metal adhesives and to understand the process of applying them to your applications.
You can watch them at our website or via our YouTube channel:

We always recommend that you put the lid back onto your IPA after use. That way you can prevent it from evaporating and wasting your mone and also to avoid unnessecary vapours.

As a bonus some sealants can also provide some noise insulation and fire protection, which is essential in some industrial settings.

Having cleaned your components prior to bonding, we recommend that you keep the clean side exposed and not to put it face down incase this brings about further contamination which could adversely affect the bond.

It is a premium quality, low modulus, neutral curing (Oxime) silicone sealant which contains fungicides (food safe) making it suitable for use as a sanitary sealant, as well as many other sealant applications. It provides a long lasting watertight seal for interior and exterior applications. We can colour match our silicone in as little as 12 tubes (MOQ 12 tubes per box).

Structural adhesives are an essential part of many industrial, automotive, and aerospace applications, and they can be used to create strong, lasting bonds between materials with different properties. It is important to choose the right adhesive for the application, as different adhesives have different properties and benefits. With the right adhesive, it is possible to create a strong, lasting bond that can withstand the rigors of use in the harshest conditions.
The adhesive cartridge should be loaded into the applicator gun from the side and clunked into position. Then you are ready to start bonding.
Technical tip: It is always a good idea to bead some 2 part adhesive onto a piece of card to ensure it is properly mixed before applying it to your component.
