Very, very proud post this is 💚 I don’t know if any of you watched the MOBO Awards the other night?! But the screens whilst the artists performed had names of all the artists involved in the Garage scene to date. Well I got recognised along with a few names to mention as someone that contributed to last 30 years of UK Garage 😮 Do you know how much of an honour this is and what this means to me, you and also the city. For years we have pushed for us to be seen, but nothing gets looked upon north of the M25, BUT we, us, everyone have finally been recognised as being part of the contribution to the sound that continues to progress and make huge waves across the uk, for me this is a very proud moment and a massive breakthrough for Birmingham 🙏🏼💙 I’m not claiming Uk Garage in the West Midlands, but for me on a personal level & NICE - Underground, we have been seen 👏🏻

😮‍💨😮‍💨 Was sick to be back where I belong last night after such a long January break, now it’s full throttle for 2024 💨

OMFG, So I’m at work almost fell off my ladder 🪜 Literally just had the booking confirmation come through from Ministry of Sound Club London 🤩 Not only has it been my dream from listening to the Ministry of Sound albums back in the day to play there, but to finally brake the seal of playing in London is just another tick of my bucket list 🙌🏻🙌🏻 More details to follow 💚

25 years ago back in 1999 I walked into a bar called Genesis and bagged my first ever residency, this was it, I made it, playing a 5 hour set every Sunday for 4 cans of Redstripe, the rest is history….🚀

Let’s fast forward 25 years to 2024 where I am gonna celebrate an anniversary like no other by throwing the biggest summer day rave ever on August 10th ☀️

I will be inviting DJs, artists, producers, pa’s, special guests, friends and the music that influenced my entire career to this day. The production levels are going to be so special it will be mind blowing, I’m cutting no corners. This will be the biggest party I have ever organised, I’m throwing everything at it, even the kitchen sink. I want us to walk away from such a pinnacle anniversary in my life with memories to add to such an amazing career so far!!!!

I really hope you can all make the date and celebrate with me on such a monumental moment of my career, as this will be very emotional 💚

I’ve literally sat in bed till 1am last night going through everything I’ve done this year, obvs I couldnt post all of my best bits, so here are some….2023 was just so mad, nothing I’m really used to, very overwhelming 💚 I played 5 massive festivals, went on 4 tour dates with the Bad Boy Chiller Crew, 1 European gig, had another successful sell out year with NICE - Underground & Frequency Festival, toured round the uk with Back To The 90s Festival, headlined Crooked House Events festival, had my tune signed to ATW Records with huge support from Interplanetary Criminal & co 👊🏻 Other music supported by Eliza Rose, Silva Bumpa, Girls don’t sync, Morgan Seatree , Otto Knows plus to many more to mention 🚀 My music being played on some of the biggest stages around the world 💚 Picked up an award from Street Cred Magazine, I’m sure there is loads I’ve missed, oh big up Smog Smiff for making me look good again 😂

2024 is already looking amazing….Up To No Good will be released, I finally tie the nott with my beautiful Mrs Sam Jo & international bookings already in the diary plus festivals also locked in, soon to be announced ❤️

I want to finish by thanking everyone that has supported me, shown me love and gave me the opportunity to showcase myself and show you what I’m all about 🙏🏼 Without any of this nothing would be possible, so thank you 🤩 Love you all ❤️

Got to take time out to wish you a Merry Christmas & thank you all🎄 What a year it’s been, 2023 was another level, it’s been absolutely mental, SO looking forward to 2024 ⬆️ I’ve played on some of the biggest stages to some of the biggest crowds 🙌🏻 My tracks supported by some of the biggest artists in music scene 🙏🏼 Unbelievably grateful to the highest level, bring on 2024, let’s go 🚀🎅

Don’t forget to look out for each other over the festive period, for most it’s the happiest time of the year, but for others it can be a very lonely and dark time, reach out and spread some love, because that could be the greatest gift you give this year 💚❤️💙

You know what, I humbly speak about award winning artists in the music scene I always forget these. Now I don’t speak about being an multi award winning Dj, I think it can look gloaty, but you know what I’ve come to that point in my life where I am gonna say, I am a multi award winning artist and proud. Maybe it’s not Dj Mag of the year top 100, but it’s definitely something to be proud of 💚

There has been crazy awards also that I’ve received that I also forget about from the Guardian News paper, The mirror and a certificates from the government for my musical efforts, it’s just proper mad 🙏🏼

I’m literally, totally obsessed with music, I love seeing people buzz, I love to entertain, it’s the best natural feeling in the world, so to be awarded for something that i love is amazing 🤩

You really do have to take a step back sometimes and see what you have achieved in life, don’t matter how big or small, as long as your moving forward that’s what matters 💚

So this landed in my what’s app this morning 🤦🏼‍♂️ I actually don’t know what to write here apart from, I went to the award ceremony last night, my category got called out and due to technical & organisation issues it wasn’t presented that I actually WON Street Cred 25th Anniversary Legacy BEST DJ🥇

So first and foremost I just want to send a shout out to all the other artists that was in the same category. Everyone in there own way has won this award, you all work your absolute b*llox off and share the same passion for music as I do, so this goes out to everyone in the same category last night, we are all winners, so keep on winning, big love & respect ❤️💙

So i definitely have mixed emotions right now, obviously extremely grateful to everyone that voted for me 🙏🏼 I totalled 13,300 votes 😮 Now that for me right now I am more gassed about, you lot are just amazing, I really don’t what to say, but thank you so much 🤩

I have more great news that also happened yesterday, but I will explain more later 💚

Off to London with a suitcase full of clothes and a very important meeting 🤔….Exciting times ahead 😬

Who the f*ck invented stag do’s 🤢 I was planning on doing a Recovery Session today, but all 3 hangovers have decided to hit me at once, how selfish of them 😂 There is no way you can be on a 3 day sesh and think having one decent nights sleep is gonna sort you out 🤦🏼‍♂️ I’ve got bin bags under my eyes, heads pounding, eyes are burning red and major body aches, but I will be fine 😂

I’m planning on doing a show later this week instead as a little pre warm up for NICE Underground Presents A WINTER WONDERLAND 2023 also wanted to let ya know, we only have 150 ticket left, so if you was umming and arrrrrring you better hurry up 😜

Me and my Samantha survived Bad Boy Chiller Crew album launch party last night 😂😂 What a night 😝 Met some really good people and put some faces to social profiles, oh and spun a few tunes for good measure 💙
