Regional Application Engineer - Regional Manager - Jason Peel
ISCAR's small quad shaped milling inserts are intended for general milling applications.
It features a positive axial rake that reduces cutting forces and provides a 3.5 mm depth of cut.
These inserts are designed for machining compact and miniature parts such as light components for dies and molds, medical devices, and aircraft parts. The small dimensions of the cutters make them ideally suitable for turn-milling on multi-tasking machines.
HELI-4-MILL small quad inserts includes two types of inserts. One for 90ยบ shoulder milling and the other for high feed machining. Both insert types fit the same endmill. The economical, positive, and durable small size insert has 4 cutting edges and enables efficient machining.
The large tool core ensures increasing the number of teeth on small tool diameters for high productivity. HELI-4-MILL cutters and inserts are designed to provide an economical option for a wide range of roughing and finishing operations and easily replace solid carbide endmills.
These cutters can be used to mill square shoulders, slotting, plunging and rough milling with a very high feed rate.
The HELI-4-MILL cutters feature pinpointed coolant to each cutting edge assuring high productivity. This upgraded milling tool family can machine steel, cast iron, stainless steel and difficult to machine materials under the ISO P, M, K, S and H application groups.

This month Beth Faulkner - Regional Application Engineer for the Midlands team has set herself the challenge of 100 squats a day. By taking part in the 2900 Squats in February challenge for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

3 Effective Cutting Edges for Higher Drilling Productivity. LOGIQ3CHAM is an advanced three-flute indexable drill featuring a unique pocket design for minimal runout and a high level of repeatability.
The drilling headโs self-centring sharp point geometry ensures a reliable drilling process even when subjected to interrupted cuts and tough conditions. Cutting forces are equally divided across the drilling headโs 3 cutting edges, which can increase productivity by up to 50% compared to a conventional 2 cutting edged design.
The LOGIQ3CHAM drills are available in the range of 12 to 25.9mm diameters with 0.1mm increments. The geometry is suitable for machining both ISO P and ISO K materials โ steel and cast iron.

Area Sales Manager - Regional Manager - Jason Bell
The ISCAR SUMOCHAM line for drilling operations.
The SUMOCHAM line has a new unique pocket design that uses resulting cutting forces to tighten the exchangeable drilling head, which provides extremely rigid mounting. The greater the effect of the cutting forces, the greater the clamping force of the head.
The SUMOCHAM line is user-friendly and assures quick and easy replacement of exchangeable drilling heads with emphasis on ISCAR's no set-up time phenomenon.
The tools are embedded with the revolutionary technology of twisted coolant channels. This modified twisted coolant channel design features increased flute volume that greatly contributes to effective chip evacuation.
ISCAR's SUMOCHAM exchangeable drilling heads are available in a diameter range from 4 mm up to 32.9 mm and include 10 standard geometries that are suitable for the most popular and common material groups used daily in diverse industries.
