We’ve cupped the best of Kenya’s urban and wild plains into one slow adventure, connected by the savannah’s dirt roads and trails. Ride, camp, and escape amongst these vast grasslands, Masai cultures, and the Mara Reserve – one of Africa’s finest wildlife sanctuaries.

Over nine days bikepacking, we journey west through the Rift Valley and Loita Plains to the Masai Mara, which we’ll explore by bike and game drives.

TORINO-NICE / Italy-France
21 July - 28 July 2024

The second edition of our bikepack criss-crossing the alpine borderlands of Italy and France, between the home of vermouth and the Cote d’Azur, is riding in July for 2024.

‘Torino-Nice’ is a week's bikepacking through the Cottian and Maritimes Alps; a journey based on original routesmith James Olsen's route for what became the Torino-Nice Rally. Expect iconic mountain passes and glorious gravel tracks, the finest agriturismos and rifugios, aperitivos aplenty, and hearty trailside picnics.

Ride south, into the sunshine.

This is undoubtedly a challenging ride, but with the long summer days and Pannier levels of support, you’ve plenty of time to enjoy the big mountain experience.

TIAN SHAN / Kyrgyzstan
30 June - 08 July 2024

https://www.pannier.cc/product/tian-shan-kyrgyzstan-bikepacking-expedition/

The third edition of our bikepack into the haute wilds is confirmed to ride, and has just a couple of places left. ‘Tian Shan’ is a lake-to-lake bikepack journey east, over a week's riding through the Tian Shan Mountains. Expect big peaks, big landscapes, big skies, big weather, wild camps with home comforts, and nomadic yurt settlement sanctuary.

For the majority, travelling directly into Bishkek is best, whilst Almaty (and a transfer) is an alternative for those travelling from outside of Europe. Given the travel involved, why not extend your stay in Bishkek, or in these eastern lands. We can help with anything like this - just shout.

Expect sealed Ariege roads and high gravel mountain passes, rustic refuge evenings and luxe basecamp pools, local hearty food/drink as well as some bikepack classics, solitude and social, and to experience three countries across four days’ rewarding riding.

Overland travel is a big push for us going forwards and this expedition, located a ride or transfer from various transport hubs, is designed around making things accessible - why not try the sleeper train from Paris?

JOURNAL & FILM: RAREBIT RAMBLE / Brompton Bikepacking

https://www.pannier.cc/journal/brompton-bikepacking-wales-rarebit-ramble-ride/

Bikepacking on Bromptons? Oh yes. We hire bikes from one of the Brompton Hire Docks in Birmingham, strap on bikepacking bags, and ride/train/push our way through the heart of Mid-Wales on a cross-country adventure to Carmarthen over three days. Connecting cities, people and places, by bike.

Expect rarebit cookouts, quad-bike rides, train shortcuts, kazoos, post-office paparazzi, Elan swims, and freewheeling fun.
..and, apologies if you've been trying to get in touch the last month or so, whether shop or travel. Things have all been fairly overwhelming in terms of (re)planning/(re)scheduling all our group trips, and dealing with supplies/the EU shipping saga. We'll be communicating and replying to everyone ASAP, and hope to be back at full 15KPH speed soon...

Afternoon!

A post to say that we've started making short vids for our Youtube Channel! >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvNGpgIubuI&t=38s

Our first lil' episode - MINI EGGS - is now up, and it follows us riding/hiking to a remote cabin in the Dark Peak (Peak District N. P.) The aim is to do more of these, to share glimpses behind the scenes and more of the in-between times - local riding, prepping - as well out there on our bikepacking trips...

If you've 5 mins, a watch/like/subscribe would be ace 🍉 Cheers!

See you out there...

INTRODUCING THE PEPO PACK

https://www.pannier.cc/product/pepo-bikepacking-gravel-hip-bar-pack/

In the depths of Lockdown 2.0, we co-designed and tested this hip/bar pack, our first Pannier.cc bikepacking bag, with stitch wizards and friends – Harry & Ve – over at Wizard Works. We locked heads about what works best for a gravel riding pack, and then tested a couple of prototypes for a number of weeks - the result is ace.

The first 15 are at Pannier HQ, and we’ll be putting them live at 15.00UK today. We’ll then be releasing the Pepo in batches of 15, so if showing out of stock, please sign up for the Waitlist, and we’ll make our way through the list!

**COMPETITION**
We’re giving a Pepo away, from the next batch, to one lucky tourer. All you have to do:
1. join the Waitlist
2. comment below with your guess at the Mini Egg capacity - to the nearest Egg - we managed to fit, with two roll closures :)
3. try to resist buying yourself some Mini Eggs
(No Mini Eggs were wasted in the making. The Comp is across Insta/Facebook/YouTube once the video is up. If more than one of the same, we’ll pick a name out of our a cap)

*Hip / Handlebar Pack – you decide
*Capacity: 2.5-4L
*Tested in the Peak District N.P.
*Made in London, by Wizard Works
*Vegan

👋🏼 Tourers. How are you all?

We're back to it after a good break, excited/optimistic for a fresh year of bikepacking ahead. The end of 2020 was somewhat crazy for everyone, eh? Shipping was stacked up, and we had a substantial drop of Bedrock Sandals that we're glad to say all made it out. Hopefully your Pannier Packages are with you by now if you ordered before Christmas(!) Everything since is leaving Sheffield today/tomorrow.

We spent the end of 2020 working hard on a longer-term Pannier Travel plan, to offer more bikepacking experiences at home and abroad; mainly UK this year, for obvious reasons. There's already a great selection of tried-and-tested trips confirmed from April 2021, that we'd love to host you on:

- Desert of Wales
- Route Beer Ramble (London-Bristol)
- South Downs Ramble
- Peakland Ramble (Manchester-Sheffield)
- Annapurna Expedition 001..chuffed to say our Highland Drover trip is fully booked

We're also re-working the Solstice Social into a 'Pannier Gathering' - an Annual meet-up in early September we're keen to fix into your bikes/social calendars 🍉

Anywhere you'd love to bikepack as part of a group? Let us know - can be as bucket list as poss :) Enough for now. Keep checking in as we're adding what we can, when we can... // Stef & Dave
