I’ve decided to document my journey renovating my 40ft canal boat, being a complete novice 😬
Boat is on a dry dock ready for assessment tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞🤞she’s been unsunk, just gotta wait for them to have a look at her 🤞

Yeah….so I really don’t recommend that pomegranate surface spray 💦
My water feature got out of hand but I have been told that if I go down with a water pump and generator I can pump all of this out and it will be ok fingers crossed 🤞 thankgod I was stripping the whole thing anyway. Why I am still positive, why 🤷🏻♀️

This is a barge pole I got delivered today……. I really really wish I was joking saying this but I genuinely didn’t know a barge pole was a real thing until AFTER I bought the boat 🤦🏻♀️😅
I have never in my life been in a head space to even have to think about if a barge pole was a thing. I only knew it as the saying “I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole”
So this is the brain I’m working with 🤷🏻♀️😂
So now I have a multipurpose barge pole, for boat duties and my non existent romantic life 🤷🏻♀️
