FOLK ‘N’ FRENZY ⚡️🎹

The first single from my forthcoming E.P. will be out THIS Friday on all platforms, entitled ‘Yaadan’.

This particular song features the vocals of an amazingly talented singer who we lost late last year (almost a year to the day) - Amar Singh Littran. It’s a very personal project to me.

I first heard Amar’s vocals in the late 2000s and was blown away by the texture and power of his voice. A raw, high-pitched, energetic vocalist - someone who didn’t get the full acclamation of his talents while he was alive.

In his younger years, Amar was under the tutelage of the late, great ‘Kuldip Manak’ and spent a lot of time learning his art before releasing on to the scene - which in itself is a rare thing these days.

I had always wanted to work with Amar since the day I first heard him and even when I hadn’t officially started producing/releasing music myself, I’d push others in the field to work with him. His vocal had the potential to create an anthem.

My bro has worked on several projects with him over the years and finally made our link-up happen. But unfortunately, the project that we ended up working on was one of the last ones that Amar ever recorded.

Nevertheless, I’m grateful that I’ve got the opportunity to present his vocals with my music - I hope that I’ve done justice to his legacy and created a song that you will enjoy.
