Dear community,
I am starting a project to gather birth & postnatal stories from disabled and differently abled Mothers and Birthing people. My aim is to collate these stories to share online and amongst Birthworkers to raise the profile of disabled mothers voices in the UK at this moment, to bring the topic of Disabled Birth into the light.

As a Doula and Mother with an invisible disability- Epilepsy- I have been saddened (but not shocked) to find (in the four years since I entered Birth work) how under represented voices like mine are. How rife Abelism is and how few disabled birth stories midwives, doulas, health visitors and other healthcare professionals truly know.

So if you are disabled or differently abled and would like to share either your Birth or postnatal (or both!) stories with me I would be honoured to hear it. I would especially love to know what where the high points and the low points of your childbearing year? What would you like Healthcare professionals working with disabled women and birthing people to know? What would you like to be the same for your children if they ever birth and what do you hope might have changed? And I also want to amplify disabled joy so share that with me too! 💕

Well Hello There... it’s about time I said hello and introduce myself 👋

🌈I’m Karolina, mum to 20 month old Carter, Wife to Stuart, Hypnobirthing Instructor and a founder of Inflorescence Nurturing😊
I became a Hypnobirthing Instructor with the wonderfully supportive and I am very excited to get going. I will be shortly launching my business and offering some incredible great deals on Hypnobirthing courses so keep you eyes peeled👀

🌈What can you expect from this page?
I hope this will be a safe space for parents-to-be to explore birth related topics, tips, news and plenty more. Inflorescence Nurturing is not only aimed at parents-to-be but also those who have had their babies as I will be also covering topics like postnatal mental health which is the topic very close to my heart after struggling with my mental health after giving birth to Carter.

🌈 I currently offer the following:
* Full Hypnobirthing Course (8-10 hrs)
* 3 hour Hypnobirthing Workshop (mainly aimed at those whose are late in pregnancy or second round parents)
* The Positive Caesarean Workshop
* The Pregnancy Relaxation Programme (6 week Programme).
