This is a common misconception... Yes, you may well get some quick wins (especially if your product is less than £50), but most people won't buy something the first time they see an ad. In fact, a customer will interact with a brand 21 TIMES before they make a purchase. That's a lot of interaction. And if you think about your own buying habits, you'll know that I'm speaking the truth. When was the last time you saw an ad and went straight across and bought the product? And the customer journey gets more complex the higher your price-point becomes - it takes a lot more consideration to buy something for £2000 compared to something that costs £20. Here's an example for you. It's freezing cold and as I work full-time from home, I'm always looking for ways to keep warm other than having the heating on 24/7. In rolls the Oodie ad into my feed - great targeting (if you don't know what I'm talking about, they are those MASSIVE fluffy hoodies). I love it! But do I buy straight away? Nope. I head over to their website, I take a look at their designs, I have a look at the price point, I get distracted by something else. I have now been served the ad multiple times and I STILL haven't bought - although this is mainly because they have now sold out of the designs I like and I don't want the one with bulldogs all over it (another lesson to be learnt). However, without the ad, I would never have even known about this wonderful warmth inducing product, that I absolutely WILL buy when they restock the plain grey option. So, the moral of the story is, Facebook ads absolutely do work and, if done well, they are an amazing marketing tool, but they aren't a quick fix. If you want to find out more about how you can include them in your marketing mix, get in touch by sending a DM or booking via my website.

Did you know there are THREE types of audience to choose from when setting up your Facebook ads? ⭐️Interest-based audiences (COLD) This is the one that most people know about. This is where you use your knowledge of your target customer in order to create an audience. So you would tell Facebook the demographics, interests and location and then Facebook would use this information to find you the right people. ⭐️Lookalike Audience (COLD) This is an audience created from one of your custom audiences (see below). The algorithm will use data points to find people similar to those in that custom audience. ⭐️Custom Audience (WARM) So these are audiences made up of people who already know your product or brand. They are created using data from one of your data sources - for example, website visitors, page followers, Instagram engagers etc. Which one have you tried before? Let me know in the comments below. And if you are feeling a little bamboozled, let me know, I'd be happy to help 😊.

Is your the name in your name field the same as the name of your account? If so, you should really consider changing it and here's why: ✅The name field is searchable as is your account name, so you are wasting an opportunity to add key words that people may search for by them being the same ✅You don't need to tell people the name of your business twice - they can work it out from your account name ✅You might want to use your name field to actually introduce yourself - give people your actual name!! People love to know the person behind the brand and encourages the know, like, trust element that encourages sales! Do you know a biz owner who might benefit from seeing this? Share it or tag them below!
