Print is no longer throwaway anymore. Brands are increasingly turning to print and special finishes as means to distinguish themselves. If you’ve got something worth communicating, then as the author or originator where would you rather it be read? Off a screen? Or off a memorable piece of print?

Shown here are our skills as specialist finishers. This greeting card comprises two tipped in laser cut and foil embossed cover boards. The Indigo printed inner pages are affixed to each cover creating an interesting concertina folding effect.

Shown here is a menu for a fine Dining Inn. The menu uses a simple colour palette comprising tipped in, foil embossed cover boards. The saddle stitched inner pages comprise of a simple typographic layout punctuated with abstract images of food combinations, litho printed on natural felt marked papers from James Cropper Papers.

For this project we worked with the designer to create a special edition collection piece for that included a series of printed materials featuring a host of printing techniques on coloured papers evocative of the period. Each collector’s pack contains a poster, a series of postcards, a bookmark and a limited edition book, which features unseen images of protest graphics, performance poetry, graphic novels and underground magazines of Jeff Nuttall.

The contents of this collector’s piece, and the techniques used to produce each pack, perfectly captures the DIY quality of the underground publications of the time, and gives an insight into the people behind this 1960’s artistic and social underground scene.

This strong and durable board provides consistently excellent printing and finishing results, and is ideal for menu covers.

The Singer Sewn inner pages printed on natural felt marked papers from the GF Smith Accent collection, are a perfect complement for the cover material. Over the coming weeks we will be sharing more of our work in the hospitality sector.
