Some more of what I’ve already been doing but defo want to take it up a notch this year
I’ve been so busy building my business (which I love) but I sometimes let my own goals slip.
I love cosy nights in with my family and long walks so gonna prioritise that.
I want to be more present with my loved ones, i’m always stressing and worrying about stuff that I’ve noticed life is passing me by. My babies are growing up way too fast so I need to slow down and just be…..
Just get a game plan and write it down so you can look at it to remind you what you want for yourself ❤️💪🏼

I remember asking Erin for a full length picture when we first started and she said she didn’t have any 🤔
This made me sad because she said she didn’t like looking at herself in pic’s especially full length
Also for her to say she didn’t like what she seen in the mirror broke my heart as she is beautiful inside and out
My goal was to make her see what everyone else does
Building her confidence in the gym with heavy lifting and eating a better diet is what has helped do this.
Well done beautiful girl and I love when clients become friends and that’s what I’ve found in you.

As we wind down to Christmas I want to spend this week really highlighting my beautiful clients and their achievements over the past year.
Ruth sent me this pic and doesn’t she look fab
Not only has she lost over 20lbs, her confidence is up and she is feeling good
That’s what this is all about
I genuinely get such a buzz when the girls say they feel good in their own skin.
Ruth has worked her butt off not only in the gym and extra 6am sessions but with her diet and lifestyle.
She still enjoys a busy social life but rains it back in again and gets back to work 💪🏼

When your client sends you a pic of themselves and is feeling good then it honestly means the world to me.
Not only has Jodie lost well over 7inches from her body but her attitude and confidence in the gym is amazing.
I strive to make women feel good about themselves.
Fitness isn’t all about 6 packs and Abs….
Females have it hard. Especially with social media we are constantly comparing ourselves to other women
Sometime its just unobtainable to look a certain way.
(Alot of these pics are edited) but even the fittest and best bodies are built by long hours in the gym and restricted diets.
In the real world we don’t all have that time to spend on ourselves.
sometimes we lose ourselves amongst work, kids and looking after a house. We come last😰
What if health and fitness and feeling good about yourself can be achieved through realistic lifestyle changes.

Having an education around food so you can understand macros and make better choices instead of a boring, restrictive meal plan were you will be absolutely scunnered of eating the same food day in and day out and scared to go off track for fear of gaining weight.
This is what I do and live by….
This means the world to me if I can help find that inner confidence and boost self esteem through good coaching, lifting weights and eating well.
Girls we all have an inner “boss bitch” it’s just a matter of finding it again 🥰

Been getting loads of question lately about my small group personal training
This is ideal of you have ever been thinking about PT but also unsure of this or joining a fitness class
Small group training gives you more of a personal experience and you won’t get lost amongst a large group in a class.
It’s a personal training experience but as you do it as part of a small group you get the extra in person sessions each week

First peak of our photoshoot yesterday.
Had our first ever photoshoot with and what a great experience from start to finish.
This shoot was not about who has the best body
or
who had the biggest muscles
or
who is the skinniest 😞
This is about a bunch of girls that I wanted to show how amazing, strong and beautiful they really are and show off their hard work and commitment.
We aren’t bodybuilders or competitors
We are normal gals juggling life, work and kids but also love to lift weights 🏋️♀️ and look after ourselves and have loads of fun while we do.
My girls
💪🏼show up and train hard with me every week
💪🏼 lift each other up and take the term girl power to a whole new level.
They all strive to live a healthy lifestyle, eat well, build their self esteem and feel good about themselves inside and out.
I have a whole bunch of ladies that are equally beautiful and strong that didn’t take part in the shoot because photoshoots aren’t for everyone
but
I am so proud of all my ladies who show up and train with me and let me be their coach and join them on their health and fitness journey.

With all the Halloween treats in my house and Its the week before my tom and I don’t want to end up binging when the cravings kick in.
I made this date and peanut butter bark and it’s honestly so so good.
It’s really rich so You only need a little bit and it will satisfy any sweet cravings you have.
Also great pre workout snack too
It’s not calorie free 😬and it’s still a treat so don’t over board with it but it may just help curb those cravings and save you reaching for the kids sweets ❤️

Are all the weird ingredients in the food messing with your hormones and hindering you fat loss…..
Yep it probably is
We all live in a society were we want things fast and easy and that goes for our food.
It’s so hard with all the temptation everywhere you turn, you can’t even pop into your local shop for a pint of milk but you are bombarded with all the snacks and s**t of the day.
4 mars bars for £1 but a pack of apples is £3.25 😮
It’s hard, I get it and I want to eat that stuff too
It has all been designing to make us crave it and keep going back for more
If you can try and go back to eating as much natural foods as possible you will be doing your body and mind the biggest favour.
We still have no idea of the scale of damage the processed foods are doing to us but we are slowly becoming more educated and can make better choices for us and our families.
If you start making small changes and just build your way up to eating a majority of foods in their natural state.
Start swapping out the s**t and filling up on proteins and healthy fats.
Nature gave us all this beautiful food for a reason ❤️💪🏼

Newsflash…..Eating fat does not make you fat !!!!!!
There really is more to fat loss than Calories in vs calories out
One of the best things I have done in the last year is switch onto full fat.
I grew up thinking fat free or low fat was best, we all did.
In fact it’s just chemically enhanced food, it’s designed to make us believe it’s better for you
The chemicals and sugar added back into these foods when they take out the natural fat out can lead to
1 - weight gain (your body doesn’t now what to do with these toxins so it get stored as fat….)
2- The toxins also mess with your hormones which can lead to some of your symptoms and you have no idea where they have come from.(can go into this in more detail at a later date)
Lastly these products can mess with your gut health leaving you bloated.

FAT was the enemy
When we are wondering why we can’t shift body fat, we are crippled with anxiety and our hormones are out of wack just to mention a few…..
It didn’t happen overnight
In my opinion it’s years of consuming toxins through foods / cosmetics and environment that have built up in our systems
bam 💥
you hit your late 30’s early 40’s and your body and mind is suffering. You have unwanted belly fat, your arms are getting bigger and that’s just on the outside
Internally your gut is flaring up, your skin may be problematic, you can’t sleep and your mental health is suffering.
You have no idea how to make it better
It’s been accumulating for years and this is only part of it.
We didn’t even know this stuff was bad for us.
Some foods are full of chemicals and toxins that are playing havoc with our health and hormones
If we are aware we can make changes, we need to educate ourselves as no one else will do it for us
The government and food companies don’t give a toss about you or your health. It’s all about profits.💰
I genuinely was so Naive to think that why would they make something that was bad for us….
This is only the tip of the iceberg, don’t be obsessive but learn how to make better choices as and when you can.
There’s so many things that can impact this but you need to make some changes in order to make a difference.
One minute your sailing along and next it feels like someone has taken over your mind and body and your are totally unrecognisable to yourself and probably those around you.
Everyone was getting on my nerves - I then felt guilty for feeing that and started self loathing in a big way.
Anxiety came out of nowhere and I would dread social situations I just wanted to hide away.
couldn’t even have a few wines to take the edge off anymore as I literally felt like I was dying and it made everything seem so much worse.
I didn’t like talking about perimenopause
1 - because it means I need to admit I’m getting older
2 - I didn’t know for sure and still don’t if that’s what’s happening I also have PMDD but it’s gotten worse as I’ve hit 40.
3- it’s still not talked about enough and even most doctors aren’t clued up in it.
No matter what’s happening you just know when your body and mind doesn’t feel right.
You don’t feel like you anymore
You are losing your mind
Your body is changing in front of your eyes and no matter how hard you try it’s not making any difference
If all this sounds familiar you are not alone girls
I didn’t realise how important understanding our hormones is.
I’ve been researching the hell out of this stuff as I’m genuinely passionate about it and want to help myself and others.
I want to teach my daughter the stuff I’ve learned while she’s young so she doesn’t have the issues I’ve been dealing with when it hits you out of the blue.
Its a really difficult time and there’s no magic fix
I still have bad days but nothing like it was….
There’s some things that I think are are non negotiable now when it comes to hormonal health and I’ll be sharing these with you over the next few days.
Educating yourself around your hormones doesn’t just apply to perimenopause it can also be if you have pcos…. Bad pms symptoms or even worse PMDD (something else I was recently diagnosed with but can get worse as you hit perimenopause years)

This is 4 week progress pic and to say I’m absolutely blown away with Mandy’s hard work and determination in an understatement.
The pics speak for themselves plus Mandy is over 9 inches down 👏
Mandy has not only been hitting my SGT sessions hard but she’s also been working her ass off outside of the gym too.
She has been smashing her steps and been taking everything I say to her on board when it comes to her diet.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of this block brings for you Mandy.
You are so inspirational and I’m really proud of all the hard work you are putting in.
Seeing women looking and feeling better about themselves is what this is all about.
Scale weight and dress size is just a label
it’s all about how you feel in yourself and building your confidence and bringing that inner boss bitch back out. 💁♀️

Ladies this is the best piece of advice I can pass on.
I put myself down on a daily basis before anyone else can.
I think if I say what what I hate about myself and what people may be thinking then it won’t hurt as much.
It’s such a bad habit and I’m not alone
I speak to females everyday and most of you will say something negative about yourself within the first 2mins (Fact)
We are awful at taking compliments it’s like we don’t believe them.
I try and have a rule with the girls I work with and I try to do it myself were you are not aloud to say anything bad about yourself.
Btw this is harder than you think when we have spent years running ourselves down.
I’m trying to lead by example as I have kids and already Im seeing them pick up on my bad habits and saying negative things about themselves and it’s heartbreaking.
Mindset is everything and so is how we speak to and about ourselves
Try and do this going forward what you put out into the universe comes back (Law of attraction)land all that) ❤️
Practice some self love and Be kind to yourself ❤️

Not only has this girl lost over a stone in weight she has got strong AF and is looking so toned after lifting weights 3 x week since joining my small group training 12 weeks ago.
Not only can you see a huge difference in her physique but her confidence and self esteem has improved and that’s what it’s all about 💪🏼❤️
She’s finally feeling confident to get that bikini 👙 on and I think she looks unreal.

Seed cycling can help with Hormone balance if done consistently
It can also help put more nutrients and fibre in your diet
It can help reduce cravings and keep you fuller for longer as they take longer to digest
Seed cycling isn’t a cure all but can help as they are full of Polyphenols (anti oxidants) there are so many more benefits to incorporating seeds into your diet so check the link to find out more.
They are a great source of fibre and females should be aiming to eat 25g -30g each day.
These wee jars are just to make my life a bit easier so I can store them in the fridge for longer and quickly add two tablespoons daily to some of the foods listed below and depending on where I am on my cycle will depend on which jar I use 💁♀️

If you don’t eat breakfast have it for lunch
The kefir yogurt tastes delicious and has 6G protein also good for gut health 👌
Full fat Greek yogurt is so creamy I love it and it also has about 7g protein.. it’s slightly higher in cals than fat free but the taste is worth it and not to mention it’s not full of sugars and food enhancing chemicals🤢
It will fill you for longer and stop the glucose spikes…..once you switch to full fat you will never go back.👍
Protein powder - this is the game changer
Find a flavour you like, I’m using the pistachio flavour and I can’t get enough
I also recommend white chocolate flavour if you are new to powders and want to try one.
I add seeds for the extra crunch and nutritional value
Chia seeds - source of protein, take longer to digest so aid in keeping you fuller for longer.👌
Flaxseeds - source of fibre, helps with digestive health and keeps you fuller for longer😋
Sunflower seeds - help regulate your hormones (great for the luteal phase of your cycle) 💁♀️
Cinnamon- great for helping with sweet cravings, helps with insulin sensitivity and it’s anti inflammatory 👌
