Take me back!! This time last week I was 10/10 smashed after a lush day with the legends and half of us ended up pumping into this one at garage night in butlins. (Loving the photo bomber)

Side note. He did tell us we were ‘such mums’ so we fu**ed him off swiftly.

Anyway. It was a brilliant day and night and I would like to be doing it again.

Our wonderful friend Lisa Ashton MBE from the Winnie Mabaso was on stage at our last Glammies event to share the amazing news that, thanks to money Tropic helped raise, The Winnie Mabaso Foundation was able to build a forever home for the young people they support once they’ve outgrown the orphanage. We are so thrilled to say that the first two girls, Forgiveness and Palesa, have moved into Tropic House! They’re settling in well and absolutely love their forever home. You’re blooming lovely.

Some days love and laughter is all you need. We haven’t all been together face to face for months. But it was like we were together yesterday. I love these girls and everything they have bought to my life. But the best part… if it wasn’t for Tropic I wouldn’t even know half of them and I love that even more. We laughed. We cried. We fell over. And some of us even ended the night dancing our socks off and bumping into mr p.
Can’t say the 2 kids parties were ideal today however. My house looks like a bomb site and my usual Sunday reset did not happen. But… this weekend was just what the doctor ordered 💜💚🧡

What is A B C ? And what does it mean ?
I couldn't work it out although I'd heard a lot about this A B C before I joined Tropic ..
So let me explain..

A = Awaken your skin with a cleanse ... So melt away the days impurities, pollution, make up, blue light rays & other dirt that has built up .
The unique golden jojoba oil melts away the dirt, cleaning out the pores but also replacing vital hydration with green tea extract. Added Eucalyptus & rosemary if you opt for scented really makes you feel like you're in a spa !
I do this x 2 a day

B = Balance . You mustn't leave out this step ( a few do ! ) as it prepares the skin for further products but most importantly it balances the skins PH which change after washing with water .

Life is a rollercoaster. Even without any major drama sometimes it’s like being on a hamster wheel isn’t it?

Trying to remember everything for everyone. Even today… a day that I should have had a little lay in, I was still up at the crack of dawn to get the house sorted. Food shop collected. Make sure all the school clothes are washed. Remembered who needs packed lunches and who has what clubs. That’s before remembering i needed to wash my hair Cus who knows when I’ll get a chance this week…

Don’t get me wrong we have had the nicest weekend in a looooong time. But it’s back to the grind tomorrow. So tonight I will chillll and have a little pamper and binge watch s**t tv Cus it makes me feel goooooood.

Do you know that?

Probably not… I don’t think any of us do really do we?

We are always pushing for more, always thinking we need to do more or that we aren’t good enough.

But really, when we learn to stand in our own abilities and just be who we are and accept that. Life becomes a little easier.

Yes I’m over organised but then forget things allll the time. Yes I’m always on my feet, tidying, cleaning and sorting but still feel like the house is a s**t tip. And yes I always have great intentions of putting myself first but then get guilt when it comes to it. No idea why.

But all of this is ok. It’s who I am and I’ve just accepted that. I make tweaks as and when I can but I don’t have the time of brain capacity to be stressing over changing on top of everything else life likes to throw at us 😂

So I’m here to tell you. You are amazing!!!!!! JUST AS YOU ARE!!

Sometimes you just need to switch off.

It’s no secret I really struggle to wind down. My mind is 100 miles an hour and I always have things I should be doing. But tonight I went to garden for a sound gong meditation with 7 other ladies and it was perfect. We zoned out and relaxed followed by hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.

During this last full moon I havnt felt focused on the things I want for myself. So I’m putting that to bed and getting back to it asap. For me. 💜🧡💚

Here is something I’ve learnt…

You can still be a realist and practice gratitude.

It doesn’t have to be all namby pamby. You can be grateful for simple things.

How often have you got up in a s**t mood and that mood has carried on and at the end of the day you think ‘we’ll that was a s**t day’

Well my top tip to you is.
Go to your notes on your phone. Open up a new note. And write a few things your grateful for/lucky to have. No matter how big or small.

Here is a few examples….
Coffee
My mum for saving me from my children for an hour.
The freezer for storing the chicken nuggets I shall feed them for dinner.
The sunshine. It makes you feel better.
My car for getting me to work.
Having a job to help pay my bills.
Being able to go for a walk.
My best mates for listening.

You get the idea.
Add to these any time anything springs to mind. Ideally 3 a day. Then. Next time your having a s**t day. Have a look at your notes. Have a read and I bet you will be able to think of a few positives in your day. Even if it is just coffee. Or wine. Always grateful for wine!!

What babes!!! Last night I made a mad dash to the theatre to meet Tom and Leo and watch these girls in their Dance house performance. They did brilliantly with their friends and had such confidence considering everyone from the other schools was a fair bit older.
I’m sure they very much enjoyed their ice creams whilst watching the second half even more 😂
Keep shining girls. Be kind always and never lose your sass (even if you drive us wild)
