My lovely mum and I started the business 33 years ago as “Joy and Lyn,” happily working together for many years until mum retired, though she is still keeping an eye on what goes on!
The business by then had changed its name and I have continued to run it in the same way, helping people to choose fabrics for their homes and different making styles, then making up their window dressings to transform their homes. I can supply fabrics, poles, tracks and also have a fitting service. Most of my work is traditionally hand stitched as this is the best way to make fabrics drape.
These days, with the costs of heating our homes going up, curtains really do help insulate the windows even if we have good double glazing.
